I have never seen him, but over the last year or two, many of the guys working in the saunas have their pics on this site. I often wondered why someone would hire off these escort sites when they can go to the suanas, see many of these guys, plus more guys, see "everything, and then go to a room for much less then the agencies charge??

Well, you've got to remember that the agencies cater primarily to Brazilian clients. Many are married, or prominent, or have other reasons for not being seen in public with an escort. So they hire discreetly from agencies or websites, where they can maintain a lower profile.

 

Some guys also just aren't comfortable with the free-for-all atmosphere of the saunas. For them, the agencies are an alternative.

 

As for being more expensive, I'm not sure that they really are that much more expensive. By the time you factor in admission, drinks, etc., the cost of the saunas starts going up. And at the saunas you're doing good to get more than about half-an-hour of a guy's time! Agency appointments are longer (an hour to 90 minutes) so it all probably balances out in the end. . .

Hi, Ive been to Rio 3 times. But never heard of point 202, or corrunhas, how many rentboy saunas are there in Rio? Any comprehensive list or review? Thanks. Oh similiar list for Sao Paulo would also be appreciated.

You can do a search here and find out everything about Corujinhas. It's a restaurant in Copa that from Midnight on, is packed with boys from the suanas as well as street guys.

there are six suanas in Rio with working boys:

Pointe 202 Copa

Estacao Copa

Club 117 Gloria

Spa 73 Centro(Downtown)

Meo Mundo Centro (Downtown)

The sixth one is quite a drive from Copa(over an hour) and I dont' know anyone that has been there yet.

 

Everyone has their favorites for different reasons, I like them all with the exception of Meo Mundo, didn't like it at all!

Hey, if you want to see solo J/O videos of these guys, Billy is at latinboyz.com and Emerson is at Brazilianmen.net in the casting call section. You didn't mention him but I recognize him.

 

Tom, Meio Mundo is hard for the Taxi drivers to find. The first time I went there the driver got lost and was driving down cobble stone streets. I started getting a little worried. Anyway I cannot really comment on the boys there because the very first one I saw when I walked in was the one for me. I went back again two nights later just to see him. Also the owner at that time, December 2001 was a very friendly guy who spoke English pretty well. There is a disco/ bar in there because I went there and had a beer with the guy first. There seemed to be quite a few other guys around but I didn't really look closely. One thing was the cabines did not have showers in them like 117 and Pointe. I would just say that if someone wants to check it out that they should get good directions. The taxi that took me there arranged to come back for me around an hour and half later so I didn't have to go out looking or a cab. When he knew the way it was not long to Copa. Mei Mundo is in Centro so it really isn't that far. BTW, my companion "Nicky", shared the taxi with me back to Copa where he lived. He sat in the front seat and put his arm behind him so that he could hold my hand the entire ride home. The Cariocas are sweet that way aren't they? As far as looks go, this guy was one of the best that I have seen in Rio.

Jack, the taxi drivers all seem to have trouble finding SPA 73 also, as the street it is on "Almeida" is a small narrow street. I have learned to tell the drivers "Praça da Bandeira", they all know where that plaza is and it has a taxi stand right there. The sauna is only about 1-1/2 blocks from there and they can find the street when they get that close.

Well, while we are talking about Saunas in Rio, what happened to Roger's. It was supposed to have re-opened in January, or February. What are the latest news from Rio?

I returned from RJ about one week ago. On the last night I was there, Apolo in Pointe told me that Roger's was supposed to open in 15 days.

Its hard tortuous work but if it opens i'm willing to review it for you all. Should be interesting as Rogers is the one suana I really hated in the past.
