Gay Boat Rio November 2nd.

Hi yall,

 

I am very glad to inform that we've finally set up all the details for our Gay Boat trip that will take place on November 2nd, starting at 10 a.m. and extending to Sintra night club, where there will be an all you can drink night.

 

I am very pleased that in our boat there will the incredible presence of dame, Laura de Vison, and a couple of lovely boys for the entertainment of our patrons.

 

The boat will leave Marina da Glória heading towards Cagarras Islands in front of Ipanema beach. Aside from the exquisite view, the company of the lovely boys, there will be plenty of food, music, drinks and a small show presented by our lovely dame.

As we have a limit on the number of people on the boat, I kindly ask you to book in advance for this special tour.

This sounds like fun if you're going to be in Rio on Nov. 2d! If I'm correct, the 2d is Finados, or All Souls Day, a national holiday when Brazilians go to cemeteries to visit their deceased loved ones. Many things are closed, and the atmosphere is kind of gloomy (in Brazil the Day of the Dead isn't the kind of festive affair it is in Mexico). So a gay cruise could be just the thing!

 

For those not in the know about Rio night life, Laura de Vison and Lola Batalhão are two of the best known drag performers in Rio. If you go out at all in Rio, you'll inevitably run into one of the shows. Laura de Vison is something of the "Divine" of Rio; she's famous for the outrageous performances she used to put on at a bar called "Boemio" downtown. (Now closed.)

 

Generally, Carlo's boat tours DON'T include escorts, but it sounds like he's making an exception on this one! However, the events Carlo puts together, including the boat tours, can be a great way to meet other non-escort gay Brazilians, so if you want to start making local friends this could a very good opportunity!

The cost for this will be R$ 240,00 (transportation to/from hotel provided), as for the party at Sintra, it's just a special promotion that the disco is providing us, as you pay R$ 15,00 to get in, you can have all the beer and soft drinks for free...
