Someone mentioned on here the chichilarue.com site last month. I joined for the 1.98 initial trial and a 39.95 per month renewal. I notified them on the second day to cancel and not to renew, and then 4 more emails within the three day period. They responded to none, other than to tell me that if I stayed for two months, the price went down to $8 and change per month. I still insisted to cancel. My credit card bill came in over the weekend and they renewed.

Why do they, like other sites, insist on this way to get business?

Anyone else had trouble with this site?

Complain to your credit card company and refuse all future charges. They're the ones with the real power. It will help if you have copies of your e-mails to cclr.

 

If they're billing through IBill, complain to IBill as well.

 

You could also write directly to [email protected], but I doubt it will do any good. I'm convinced he doesn't read 'em.

Ok. It is a bit of a pain BUT never sign up for any porn service with your credit card. Always use a webcertificate and limit the $$$ on the webcertificate so that you are never out of pocket. To the porn site it looks like a credit card. To you it is a credit card with a limit. I have about 5 webcertificates on 5 different names and addresses and I just add cash when i am about to use them and I only add enough just to cover the purchase then. I have never found a pron site that did not try to rip you off- never ever!!!! blu
