Other recommended places to visit in Brazil

I've been to Rio often and have done SP and Salvador. I'm aware of Belo Horizonte and Recife. Would they be interesting to visit and have available guys? How many days would one visit each?

 

I haven't been to Iguassu Falls--would this be a place to visit when moving from Rio to Buenos Aires?

If you buy a cheap Rio/B.A./Rio excursion fare once you get to Rio you can also probably get a free stopover in Foz do Iguaçu, as it's included in the routing. Ask a local Rio travel agency about that.

I'm going to Foz on my October trip so I'll give a report here when I get back, but I'm staying for a couple of days to see as much as possible in a relaxed manner. And I'm bringing my own Brazilian friend for company since I don't expect there'll be much there. I got a separate excursion from Sao Paulo so don't know out BA/Brazil connections. SF Traveler
