Didn't you know that female prostitutes are in much higher demand than male hookers? Thus their ticket is far higher...

 

Male escorts are usually cheaper. There's a place in Rio called "Via Apia", where you can find real good looking street hustlers who would go with you for R$ 20,00/50,00...

 

But don't ever go there on your own, 'cause you've got have a car, and beware 'cause some street hustlers are thieves, but not the majority of them...

 

Most of those boys come from the burbs (burbs in Rio aren't the same as in the US... except from a few exceptions..), they come from very poor background, and some of them do it just for the money and others because it's easier to accept their homossexuality that way...

 

So in Rio, there's fun for everyone and for every pocket...

Let me second Carlo's warnings about the Via Appia. This is a scene ONLY for the most experienced, with a car, and in the company of a local person. That being said, there are indeed some very hot, hung guys showing off their wares on the Via Appia. Not every night, but enough to make it interesting! However, you won't see anything on the Via Appia that's better than what you'll find at the saunas.

 

As for the female hookers at the hetero saunas, I don't know if they work on the same free-lance system as do the guys at the M4M places. I suspect that the women at the saunas are more in the nature of traditional prostitutes, in that they work for the house which takes at least half of the take. That would explain the higher prices, at least in part.
