While the study that you note does amply demonstrate the health aspects of sucking cum out of a super clean bung hole (especially its preventive powers during the approaching flu season, as well as its incredible ability to heal canker sores and bleeding gums), I was actually just referring to the fact that it tastes better. There was a long article about this a month ago in the San Francisco Bay Area Report, suggesting that medical authorities now think that taking cum in your mouth is less risky than previously thought, and giving epidemiological [sp?] data to back that up.

It has been thought for some time that swallowing is equally risky as merely taking it in your mouth (and no more so).

Interesting topic. I have always decided what i wanted to do on a common sense basis. i figure that if swallowing semen were dangerous, there would be barely any gay men, including me, alive. So i keep doing it, without ever taking any in my ass, and keep testing negative. So do most people i know. That is good enough proof for me.

for the record, i agree with #12 post above. I have been doing it for the past 5 years, continually test negative(i have never been fucked!)A interist here in L.A., who has a AIDs practice, said off the record,(it's not politically correct)that the cnaces of getting infected by oral sex, including having someone cum in your mouth is very, very remote! Two of my friends who have had longterm hiv + lovers, are negative, and they regularaly swallowed, and while i realize this is not a long term clinical study, it convinced me enough to do it on a reg. basis. For the record, I read the article also. It referred to sucking without a condom, not to swallowing cum. It did say that the risks of sucking without a condom are similar to being fucked with a condom (i.e. the risk the condom will fail). It did not suggest that the risk was that low when you actually swallow cum, as I recall. I would assume that would be significantly more dangerous.
