Brazilian porno theaters

Since this board is an absolute wellspring of esoteric information, I'd like to ask if anyone knows about the cruising scene in porno theaters in Brazil. I went into a couple in Sao Paulo and they were pretty grody and not very active. Okay, if there were hot horny guys there, I could have dealt with some of the grodiness. However, I was pretty disappointed, given the interesting experiences I've had in Colombia, Ecuador, and Portugal. One memorable place in Ecuador was a veritable orgy where hot young, some military guys were getting blown left and right by queens. Whoo! Some of them wanted a few bills, but most just needed to get off, which made the excitement for me.

Every large Brazilian city seems to have them. Some are better than others, and you just have to scout around and check them out to figure out which are most popular, and at what times. (If they're downtown, they'll be best from lunchtime until around 7:00 p.m., when the "straight" guys have to go home to the wife and kiddies.) You can also ask locals for suggestions. You can find listings on Netgay or the Brazilian Gay Guide (see other postings for URLs). I haven't been there in ages, but there used to be VERY active porno theaters in the Northeast, like Recife and Salvador. In Rio there's a popular one (Scala?) on Praia de Botafogo not far from the new shopping center. I have fond memories of some real mob scenes at the Dom José in downtown São Paulo, but I don't know if it's still as active. There are other cruisy theaters downtown, though.

 

If you go, remember to remove all jewelry, and take no other valuables. Carry only enough money for your admission and transportation, and don't have it in your pocket. Stash it deeply into a sock.

Well.... In Rio, you can try Cine REX ( cinelândia ), wich is clean, busy bathrooms, and lots of action in the seats.

Next door there is a Sex Shop with private video cabins, where you put coins and jerk off with someone for 10 minutes or more - depending on the amount of coins.
