M4M doesn't seem to list any escorts in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Also it's hard to find any info on the gay scene in the island. Does anyone have any info about these things?

For general information on local gay venues, get a current Damron or Spartacus guide. A traditional hangout for rent-a-hunks has been the bar at the Atlantic Beach hotel, on Calle Vendig, and on the nearby beach. That would undoubtedly be the best place to get started. There are (or used to be) some local gay bar papers. I imagine they'd be available at the bar at the Atlantic Beach, and you can find out what's hot at the moment. If you go, we'll expect a full report!

I have heard mixed reviews of the Atlantic Beach Hotel. Anyone care to add their two cents. If Atlantic Beach isn't a good choice, what would you recommend as a place to stay in that area?

It's true-

 

You can count on several Rent guys on Calle Vendig. They will be there in large numbers mostly during high season Jan., Feb. March and on the weekends. Basically they are there when the Tourist are.

 

The Atlantic Beach hotel has always been a questionable hotel. Now it has a new policy of not allowing you to bring guys up to your room. So don't bother staying there.

 

One last note. When renting in PR, these are not high priced boys. You can get a very sexy guy for about $20-$35US. But the catch is, these are not dates. They are unpredictably untrustworthy. If you are not a seasoned veteran of hiring guys in PR, your best bet is to use ChubSksEsc's rule number 4. "When you cum, they go." Do not use them for anything else than a quick sexual encounter. Some are trust worthy. But as a tourist there only for a week, you have no way of knowing which ones are.

 

Also, it is rare to see big muscle guys there. You usually get a range of young Twinks, basket ball player build and Baseball player build boys. All usually hung, all usually attractive. Just put your valuables in a lock box before going hunting for Buguerons.
