What's the Scene Like in Costa Rica???

A few days ago, I received information regarding a rather enticing tour to Costa Rica (price wise). ...would perhaps like to partake in this journey if I knew the names of a few gay escorts to consider contacting during my two week stay in this "heavenly" land. Is there a definitive gay scene in this country? What about saunas? I plan to do "my research", but I'd like to hear from someone at this site who's been there.

Scroll down to the bottom of the list of threads on this board, click on page 2, then scroll down to the posting about a website on gay Costa Rica. You should be able to get some info there. There is a gay scene in San Jose, but that would be about it, I imagine. It's a small country, both in area and population, and

San Jose is the only large city. Fill us in on what you find!

I visited Costa Rica for the first time two years ago and had an amazing time. I discovered that there were really two gay/gay friendly areas. San Jose, which I skipped all together because I really wanted to be by the water the whole time, and Manuel Antonio-the beach. There are two gay hotels there and a couple of gay bars. My favorite part was the gay beach that was hidden around a rocky cove. It was paradise. Gay people from all over the world.

 

I stayed at a hotel called Villa Roca. It has seperate garden rooms and is less expensive then the big party hotel across the street,The Plantacion. At sunset everyone goes down the road to The Cockatoo Bar to watch the sun go down.

 

The only thing close to escort action I saw there was at an outdoor bar where the tourists ane locals mingle. First the local boys come up to see if you need some weed. Then to see if you need some dick.

For $20 you can walk down the beach with them and have a taste of Costa Rica right there under the biggest stars I've ever seen.
