Georges -- Trendy restaurant on top of the Centre Pompidou, with standard world cuisine (crispy duck, swordfish with coriander), space-age decor, and an awesome view of Paris from the terrace. Wed-Mon Lunch and Dinner until 2 am. Accepts all credit cards. Located at Centre Pompidou, level 6. Place Pompidou (4th) 01,44,78,47,99 ... Metro - Chatelet ... Dress code is casual (jeans are okay). Enjoy and bon appetit ! And the waiters are so gorgeous, too. If you need any more restaurant recommendations let us know. :7

My two companions and I wore blue jeans at Georges last weekend. Some people were dressed elegantly, others like us, were casual. There were some hot waiters the night we were there. The Eiffel Tower at night on the top of the hour is dazzling from the restaurant. Bring a camera.

I want to sample the upper restaurant in the Eiffel Tower, but I am told they are booked up to 6 months in advance. In the USA, I found that revolving restaurants and those with tourist views typically have sub-standard food. And I am not sure I want to wait in line for six months for a table. Anyone know if it's worth the wait?

HB: Not worth the wait or expense...

You'd do better to spend your bucks on the upcoming DVD release of 'The Golden Girls,' which BTW, it going to be all-the-rage when it hits shelves at BestBuy. Honestly, who can resist Betty White? :)

Sophia was really my favorite anyway.

'Picture it... Sicily... 1932'

Warmest Always,

Benjamin,

I am sorry you were unable to accept our invite to join us. I realize you prefer to have birds poop in your hair in Venice, but here is pic of Stefan Lacoste at Georges Saturday....(my other guest is my secret.)

Here is a rare photo of me, painting the town, as usual.

The name of the restaurant is Jules Verne - a formal restaurant in the Eiffel Tower with a striking black-gray-and-chrome decor and updated French cuisine. Very expensive. Superb view. Daily Lunch and Dinner. Accepts major credit cards. Tel. # 01 45 55 61 44. Is it worth the wait? Well, I don't know yet because everytime I go to Paris I asked the concierge to make a reservation for me. No luck, so next time I go, I will definetely (sp) make a reservation before I get to Paris. I believe they are also closed in the winter time. -- Located at 7th Arr.

Tour D'Argent is another restaurant to considered when you are in Paris. A magical view of Notre Dame, and a chef with top credentials who has restored some of the old panache. Tel # 01 43 54 23 31. Wed-Sun - Lunch and Dinner, Tuesday - Dinner only. Lunch menu starts @ 60 euro. Much pricey than Jules Verne ... located at 5th Arr.

Jules Verne is the restaurant on the second floor. Not to be mistaken with the one on the first floor, with very common cuisine. The Jules Verne offers very good food, a great view over Paris and the Seine River. It is worth the wait, which never reaches 6 months except may on very special occasions.

Tour d'Argent is very well known for its canard au sang (duck cooked in its own blood.

The last restaurant which is to be mentionned is the one at the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower. Cooking is quite acceptable, the view over Paris is outstanding, and you can see some which just cannot be seens from the Jules Verne : the Eiffel Tower and the La Defense Arch.

Enjoy your stay in Paris

And enjoy the boys of Paris
