Hi,

 

I may have the opportunity to work in Moscow for several months, end of this year.

 

I am not sure if I will accept, anyway I would have, beforehand, to learn some basic russian as I do not know a word yet.

 

How is gay life in Moscow? Can we find sauna with renting boy? is it easy to pick up some prostitude in the bar, or from the street ? Is it dangerous ? what is the price ?.

 

As you see I have a lot of questions. As we are sometimes driven by our cock, no doubt that answer could be determinant for my decision to accept of refuse.:-)

The questions you asked about Moscow are complicated. In no particular order:

 

1) Yes, there are gay saunas and most of them are listed on the http://www.gay.ru site (see the thread on Moscow down lower in Europe).

 

2) Picking up guys on the street is tricky, and especially a problem if you do not speak Russian and are not familiar with weeding out problems from real possibilities (eg drug addicts and thieves from boy who are willing to make you happy!).

 

3) Price varies but roughly $100/2 hours is usual quited figure and most will negotiate that and many will do an over night for from $200 to $300 max.

 

4) Hotels are not easy for getting pick-ups into them. New security is tight everywhere and you usually have to meet the escort in the lobby or bring him up yourself without attracting too much attention.

 

5) Moscow is more gay friendly than any other city in Russia so if you stay there you have possibilities but it will be easier and better if you know some Russian or find a friend who can act as a go-between for you.

USD 100 for 2 hours !.... I see that russian seem to have now same level of live than western Europe, (I have to keep in mind that when I will negociate my travel indemnities...) :-)
