I was watching The Concert for New York (VH1) this evening when Leonardo and Robert graced the stage to introduce a short film. While Leo has kept a low public profile, I guess anybody involved in The Beach has, Robert or Bobby as his pals refer to him has been seen in countless films the past few years. And most likely this was their first appearnace together since they promoted This Boys Life.

 

The one thing that struck me about Leo (who will be 27 11-11) was his looks, long hair pulled back in an odd pony tail, slight stache and goatee and a little hefty (compared to how he typically looked).

 

So my question to those who saw him tonight is (in a fantasy sense) did you prefer the twink Leo or the more mature retro looking Leo?

I have lusted for Leo since he was in Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. He was excellent in that movie. But, when I saw Basketball Diaries, I was then head over heals. He was not only fantastic before the camera, he was even better in my dreams at night. Personally, I preferred the twink Leo. But, I will still take him any way I can get him.

 

FYI: If you haven't seen Total Eclipse, it is a must! When he was pounding the other guy, my mouth was wide open waiting for more.

When Leo was a twink, right after his appearances in "Growing Pain", he did a low budget film called "Total Eclipse" where he played a gay French poet. During one of the love scenes with actor David Thewlis (sp?), they showed a full frontal shot of him and I swear, his "thingy" was only a good two or three incher at best. Nude stills from this movie are also floating all over the internet.

 

So my vote goes to the more mature Leo, hoping his "thingy" has grown a few inches longer since that film.

I was partying at the Hapuna Beach Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii several years ago (pre-Titanic). Leo was there at the pool with 3 other friends - 2 girls and one guy. I wanted to invite him on a sailing cruise I was going on but was asked not to by the guy who was throwing it.

 

Leo and pals were at brunch the next morning. In fact, he and I chatted briefly over the fruit array. Director Steven Bochco went to his table to pay homage.

 

Bottom line: He was gorgeous, unasumming, cordial and did I say gorgeous? Last night, despite the bad haircut and scruffy facial hair, his blue eyes blasted through my TV and signaled me that he told Miss Cleo that he missed me. So I called her to verify. She said it was true and charged me $80.00.

 

Ah...Bliss at any cost.
