Maybe I'm just in a grouch mood today, kiddo, but do make at least a LITTLE effort and read the other threads on this board. There's also some stuff about Spain and Portugal in the "Escorts South of the U.S.A." board, which probably should be retitled "Latin Madness" or something like that to be slightly more encompassing!

Various resources, including websites, are shown in the other postings. The scene is Madrid (and elsewhere in Spain) is very lively, but it's also quite stable so even information from a year or so ago is most likely to still be current.

Happy hunting, and happy travels!

I couldn't agree more. I've lost count of the times people post a message asking for info on Barcelona, Madrid, or Spain in general and when I can be bothered I make a new post referring them to a thread from about a month ago, including, for example, the current thread immediately before this one about Barcelona.

I've been reading this board for some time now and it amazes me how all the "longtimers" here sometimes get snooty when someone asks a question thats been asked before...yeah, i read through the threads that came up when i did a search. I also think that maybe someone might have something new to add, maybe they've been there very recently and might add something fresh...just maybe?

I remember my 1st time to Thailand and went to dreadedned.com, this was a very informative site until every question was answered with "read the past threads"

I've seen this happen on cuba websites as well as the lonelyplanet thorntree.

If someone has nothing to add then i think the appropriate thing to do is not answer...move on.
