I haven't had the Colombian experience, but last time I was in Madrid I did get together with a very handsome/hung Venezuelans from Isla Margarita. Big fun!

However, I'm not surprised there are lots of Colombian guys working in Spain these days. Have you noticed what's going on in Colombia these days? It's no wonder people are trying to get away from there. I'm sure there are plenty of guys from other troubled Latin American countries (like Venezuela or Argentina) working in Spain, too.

Supporting their economy? Well, it's only "turn about, fair play," after those countries took in hundreds of thousands of Spanish immigrants and exiles, many of whom helped support the Spanish economy for years by sending money back to families they left behind. Not to mention the help Argentina sent to Spain after WWII. (Remember Evita's magical rainbow tour?)

In any case, from the very substantial evidence displayed on some Spanish escort sites, I'd say that Colombia's loss is Spain's gain! :9

Yes I agree with everything you say, and of course it's as true today as it ever was that fair exchange is no robbery! I've had some of my best experiences with Columbian guys working in Spain, I'd go so far as to say that apart from often being astonishingly beautiful physically they usually seem to have a natural expertise in the field of sexual pleasures that makes you wonder what they got up to before they arrived in Europe! My only gripe is that when it's all over and I've paid the agreed rate for my hour or two plus a generous tip, they almost always ask me if I can give them another five hundred euros because they need to send that much back to Colombia first thing tomorrow to pay for the schooling of their five younger siblings and their mother's life-saving operation. Whilst I accept that it is normal for people in their situation to be sending money back to support their families, I am always staggered at the amount of money they claim to need to keep everything together, so to speak, when a simple calculation tells you they are bringing in well over 1000 Euros per week, with no tax to pay of course.. I excercise my own judgement in these situations and stick with my original tip. Am I being mean?

No, you're not being mean. It doesn't cost them anything to pitch a sob story and hope you'll bite, but you're certainly not under any obligation to fall for it! ;-) If you browse the "Escorts South of the U.S.A" board you'll see some long threads on overpaying. The same applies in Spain. Even though the cost of living is higher in Spain than in most South American countries, the guys are making good money and should be able to help their families handsomely from their earnings. (€100 converted into Colombian currency is a lot of money these days!) You've done your bit to help these guys by employing them. Giving them €500 wouldn't be a smart thing to do, and it just encourages more of that kind of behavior! Somebody has to be the grown-up in these situations who just says "no!"
