I'll be in Amsterdam in early March 2001. Checked out Buck Meadows' web site at http://www.buckmeadows.com and E-mailed him for his rates and availability then. Rates are US$600/hr! I guess this may not be excessive for an international porn star (or am I clueless?) but quite a shock after paying $35 for fun and games in Brazil and Spain! I might take the plunge though; has anyone actually patronized Buck? If he's really 6'7" (202cm) and as hung as his pictures he definitely could be my dream guy! Can someone fill in the details? I just came back from Amsterdam and Buck Meadows or whatever his real name is is crazy demanding $600/hour. Even if he meant Guilders, 600 is still a higher rate than anywhere else.

 

Drop him FAST, and try some of the guys advertized elsewhere. The going rates in Amsterdam are VERY LOW given the strong dollar. No one should be charging more than $150-$200/hour.

My impression of Buck has always been that he simply isn't particularly interested in escort work (although I'm sure that he gets a lot of requests ...) and that he sets his rates sufficiently high to discourage all but the most determined (and well heeled) customers.

Thanks, Adriano and Michael, for confirming my initial impression that Buck's rates are, um, stunning. I think you're probably right, Michael, that Buck isn't that anxious to be escorting, which could explain his rates, but on the other hand he maintains those web sites, so ???

 

To Buck's credit, he was prompt in responding to my e-mail and direct about what he was asking. It was definitely US$600/hr., not guilders! For a couple of hours with a Falcon "weltstar" I'd seriously consider $300 (after all, there aren't that many 6'7"/202cm guys around) but being a poor old civil servant on the verge of retirement, $600 is definitely on the far end of the steep side! Unless Buck is willing to negotiate down somewhat, or offer a special low-season winter discount, I'm afraid I'll have to forego the pleasure!

First, try either ROBIN or THOMAS who are both tall, hung, and muscular. Also explain clearly to Bertram at Michael's what you are seeking. Believe me, he will find the guy for you. While Michael's has just upped their rates to NGL 300/hour, with the current rate of exchange, you are getting top value. The overnights are not that bad, and some of these guys in an overnight are unbelieveable.

 

Also, many hotels have no problem with an escort overnight, although some insist on their registering before going to your room (how I'd like to see that register and get their "real" names :-) )- a safety precaution, and not police survailence.

Thanks. I'll be staying with a friend, but it's worth knowing that you can bring someone into most hotels. I know that many hotels in Brazil do the same and ask for registration as a safety measure. It makes sense. Robbed or murdered guests are SO bad for a hotel's reputation. . . :-)
