Right on with your comment. While not particularly referring to these guys, many escorts use photos with a frown. A smile looks so much better and is much more welcoming. Perhaps they are trying to appeal to those who enjoy being abused during a sexual experience as in S&M but this look certainly is not attractive to me.

Upon seeing these pix I totally expected their reviews to be of S&M type senarios... However, that was not the case... but there is a definite dominant side that they seem to want to emphasize. Regarding weather it is attractive... not attractive if one wants to try and appeal to the average client... Still, I could not get their Rentboy link to work. It would be interesting to see if their other photos show a more congenial demeanor. Regarding a totally satisfying S&M experience, it always helps knowing (or seeing) that the top is indeed ultimately a nice or at least decent sort of guy as it helps establish and reinforce the requisite trust and confidence necessary for a successful relationship.

I DO think it is a pix of a VERY HOT GUY...but I find it FUNNY sometimes which expression is picked by some escorts. He looks like a HOT GUY in PAIN in that pix

It's interesting because Chip--the black hatted one is the guy that I thought looked --well I guess either fiercer or more uncomfortable looking too. But after I thought that I wondered whether the Original Poster meant Chip or Rocco as he didn't state which one he was talking about.

 

Then I looked at the picture more in depth--there is really not that much diffference in their expressions--Chip's mouth may turn down at the corners a little more--but that is probably a physical feature rather than intentional--what I did notice though was that it looks like Chip's neck muscles are straining--or at least somewhat tensed in comparison to Rocco's--and I wonder if the straining neck muscles is what subconsciously gives all of us the subtle feeling that Chip is in pain.

 

As an aside--I had been interested in meeting Chip for years--and the main reasons I didn't were-I don't think I ever saw a review of him, Boston was a little far--and for bringing someone to see me--flights to me in Texas out of Logan airport seemed really expensive, but number one reason was that I had no idea what he looked like currently. He went at least 3 or 4 years without ever updating his pictures--then he quit advertising for awhile. Now his new pictures--from his new life in California are incredible--I am sorry I didn't take a chance on him.
