'NO-SHOW FORUM"

I am aware that this issue has already been discussed. I am also aware that its presentation again might initiate a considerably amount of controversy. Yet based upon my post and those of two other members I wonder if it isn’t time to institute a “NO-SHOW FORUM”. It could function exactly like the Review Section in that the escort could post a rebuttal and that would end the debate.

 

When I arranged a meeting with Caesar Mancini I was certainly not aware that he had a problem keeping appointments. Had I been aware of that fact I would not have wasted my time trying to arrange a get together. Yes I could have posted the information in The Deli but, I mistakenly, assumed this was a one time happening. It was something of shock and highly enlightening to realize that no-shows for him are common.

 

The fact that certain escorts cannot manage to keep appointments is valuable information for prospective clients. Yes I am aware that there is also a problem with no-show clients. However, though some might disagree with me here, I believe this site serves primarily the interests of the clients and only secondarily those of the escorts

What you're really talking about is a review. By any other name, it's a review.

 

I agree that no-show information is important. The last time I spoke with Daddy about no-show reviews, he was still mulling what to do about them. Perhaps you should write to him and suggest it's time to shit or get off the pot, as it were. ;-)

 

The MC tends to be impermanent (and only seen by 10% of site visitors), so it's probably the wrong place to put this information. I think it should go with the regular reviews.

 

The problem, of course, is that it flies in the face of Hooboy's old policy of "you can't review the restaurant if you never ate there". There are valid discussion points on both sides of that.

 

Might be worth opening a discussion with Daddy.

I was one of the last guys who was able to post a no show on an escort under Hooboy's old system. He deactivated the system shortly thereafter.

 

I was pilloried for months by people who just loved this escort. He even went on another forum back then and complained about me by name charging many untruths. I was just trying to warn people that he was a flake. It has since become common knowledge that this guy was in fact just beginning his descent into drugs and partying. I think he left the business a short time later after trying to get into porn.

 

Really, it's a mine field. Under the old system the escorts had the right to rebut (as now) and a separate list was posted on no shows.

Around here even our double standards have double standards. x(
