Guys, I've been an escort for more than 5 years now. On Thanksgiving Day I wrote how we have a kind of community here. Being an escort is not without risks. Everyone knows this. Yet, on a personal level, one of the good things that makes being an escort worthwhile is when you can meet some really nice people in your work, both clients and other escorts. It means a lot. And, out of that, a guy can sometimes network with both clients and other escorts (as might happen in any other Community).

 

So what's my point... ? The heads up I posted on Sunday night involved a personal security matter. That matter was handled.

 

I do not intend to discuss in the Message Center any specific safety or security measures that I take. This is my choice and is called discretion. I also value client confidentiality. What I will say in reply to people's speculation is this: I was supposed to meet a new client in DC late Sunday night, but I had a gut feeling, a sixth sense, like something didn't seem on the "up and up". As a precaution, I alerted a trusted friend of mine to my unusual feeling. Things just didn't feel right... My friend got back to me with a suggestion. I followed up on the suggestion and was shocked at what I discovered.

 

When I made my post, I was both shaken and angry. I had every right to be. (Near misses can do this to a person.)

Enough already. If there was a situation that truly posed threats to others, and for which you were trying to be proactive in posting a warning, you owe them (and other escorts and clients in DC) something more than "my instinct told me" and "I resolved it" and that you still feel entitled to having made the posting without supporting your warning. Even when the robot cried out "Danger Will Robinson", he provided some substance!

A clarification? Hardly! The “mystery” continues…

 

I already wasted enough time reading the original thread with its vagueness, ambiguity, and elusiveness … A elusiveness so imprecise that one is forced to question the substance of the original posting.

 

Consequently, one would have to assume that as Seinfeld would say, “This is a thread about nothing!”

 

Or is it only about getting some publicity?

This is the Name "Draker" just being the real Personna of Draker! He will just sit back and count how many times his name is mentioned for FREE! LOL

 

Then when he gets bored with that..He'll go to the "Travel Section" and continually BUMP his Notices..As many guy's, other than myself noticed a long time ago!

 

He now will Lay Low..Go Back to Europe..return in 2008 like nothing ever happened.. or was said about him. Good Luck with that this time around..."Steven"..LOL

JT, why do you rant so much about Steven Draker? Could he have been more explicit? -- yes, but for his own reasons he has decided that he will only comment to escorts who contact him directly. Does he have a right to do it that way, sure . . . why not? You surely do things YOUR WAY (which appears to be the only way you see is right!).

 

Reading your comments over a long period of time, it is clear that, for some reason, you have a 'bug up your ass' about Steven. And, you're entitled to your opinion. But the vile you spew is getting to be a little too much. On the flip side, you seem to have your nose well up Talvin's ass as you quickly came to his defense and repeatedly cut down anyone who disagreed with you. You know, he might not be as perfect as you seem to think, i.e., do you think he might fall short once in a while?

 

Perhaps in the end it's just a question of whether the individual is a friend of yours or agrees with you. Why not try giving one just a little bit benefit of the doubt . . . someone, other than you, might be right once in a while. Don't get me wrong, I know you see things two ways -- your way and the wrong way!

 

Try listening, thinking, understanding, consideration, compassion . . . i.e., try being OBJECTIVE. In the end, you not only might learn something, you might just be a happier guy!

Traveler..I guess you haven't been keeping up with all the threads,

although reading all of this one, should give you an idea about alot of feeling towards Draker's M/O!

 

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself, but where you got the "Rant" idea from I couldn't guess? Many other's have said the same thing's I have.. although I do tend to not Sugar Coat thing's LOL

 

I am just one of many who donot have short memories!~ I wish him well in Europe.

 

I am glad to see he has "NO FEAR" of being in MY CITY this Weekend! LOL

I'm now back in Brussels and have had a chance to relax a bit out of my 'travel mode'.

 

Some calm facts.

 

I made a mistake in the past, I apologized and I learned from it. Apparently, for some people, fixating on the past is the key thing here, along with spreading some kind of negative energy. God knows how many posters, including escorts, have already noted this, or simply left. Things are as they are, however.

 

With me, it will soon be 6 years that I've been escorting. I have a regular clientele and many new clients that I meet become regulars with me. Occasionally I get overwhelmed with the demand and have to turn people away. But I do the best I can.

 

I enjoy seeing and helping a smile. I try to give the best of me to my clients and have fun. I love what I do. I had a great time on this past trip, and I feel very good about being able to meet the many clients, regular and first-time, that I did. A warm thank you, guys.

 

Finally, I'd like to thank JT Brooklyn for something (but I better not say this too loudly). JT is actually one of my best agents on this Board. Each time he unleashes an attack on me in his "fOoLish" and oh so "perceptive" way, my mail box tends to get full and my business increases. So, thank you, JT, for "working it" so hard in my favor ! :)

After reading through all the posts and other related threads on this topic, I am just as confused as to what happened or didn't happen. I met Steven last year and found him very professional so I don't understand why he would tease the board with a initial post and then clam up.

 

From reading everything I gather the party in question was a client but what exactly happened? Did the client pull a gun or attempt a robbery, or maybe just flip out and go crazy? It must have been really bad as Steven said "I never thought (even remotely) that something like this could happen one day". The only things I can think of that would fit in a serious category like that would be robbery, a attempt on his life or being arrested.

 

I can certainly understand Steven's desire to protect the clients personal info even if he was robbed or whatver, but can't he give us general details like what happened in a general sense without revealing any personal info? I have talked to two escorts I know who took Steven up on his offer to write for details, and they said the only thing he told them was the clients general description. Nothing at all about what happened. So does anyone really heard what happened or is this all just one more mystery that will never be cleared up?
