Craig's List - Ongoing Vice Scrutiny?

Apparently (from piecing together events) various Twin Cities Vice cops are conducting a coordinated sting of sex workers (escorts and massage) who advertise on Craig's List. For now, it looks like it just targets female sex workers (and, of course, their male johns). But, after the other stings of males on other CL venues, that cannot be far away. :-(

 

Think about it. If you're a cop who's stuffed with donuts, you can just sit back, go online, dunk your donut, and reel them in like starved fish. x(

I don't know about Vice scrutiny, but the Bunko/Fraud Squad should go after the CL posters in the Bay Area. Not one has lived up to their picture or stats!

If I was "sponsoring" several young escorts in the Minneapolis area, I doubt that I would go on the internet and taunt the cops for their donut eatin' lazy ways! But that's just me!

In all honesty, I don't know of any escorts where I am in FLA who presently advertise on CRAIG'S LIST. However, as a matter of policy, I must say that law enforcement targeting the escorts in this manner is, well, a bit anal-retentive, if not downright asinine.

 

There is of course a great deal of hypocrisy as to the doughnut-dunkin' lawmen: For one thing it is a very common thing, even in my neck of the woods, for officers of the law to hire escors and erotic masseurs, gay male ones included.

 

Are these officers playing favorites or biting off more than they can chew? Who knows?! Not for me to say, but I do know one thing: I'd rather be under an officer than over him.
