Hi All - This is a Plea for help!

 

I had planned to spend a long intense evening with a delightful

Plans changed due to a last minute work emergency and I find myself

The only thing one can do being trapped in a wasteland against one's wishes is to make a list of the 10 best restaurants in town and try each and every one of them, getting shitfaced as well as stuffed. To hell with the cost.

I can't help relating a little story about how I got the "Wheeling Feeling". A few years ago I was there on business and a group of my co-workers wanted to go out to a tittie bar one evening. We walked into this "hot spot" to be greeted by a sign that read "All Patrons must contribute to the music fund" So we obediently put a couple of bucks in the basket thinking it was a tip for the DJ. As we moved into the bar one girl was dancing to the music and stripping, while another girl was tending bar. When the dancing girl's song ended she hopped off the stage, went behind the bar and elbowed the bartender and said "Your turn". With that, the bartending girl went to the basket, put some cash in the juke box and hopped on stage while the dancing girl tended bar. That was it, a total of two girls and neither had their front teeth. Honest truth. We laughed so hard that the girl dancing told us to "git" LOL

 

Ohhh that Wheeling feeling!!!

 

Get a cab to Pittsburgh, I hear there's a bar called Ptown on Baum Blvd. that has nude male dancers on Mon. Wed. and Fri.

Here is just my 2 cents on choice of eateries:

 

Years past--I attempted to eat at several Waffle Houses. I would go into the bathroom to wash my hands. They were routinely filthy, and I headed right out the door back into my car. I have just recently moved and two days ago at 10 pm I felt the urge for waffles--I hadn't had dinner yet. I found a Waffle House, pulled into the parking lot--thought about it and couldn't make myself go in--and found a Denny's instead.

 

 

When I lived in Wisconsin 10 years ago, there were a lot of Perkins--some even open 24 hours. They always gave me a free new tea bag on hot tea refills without charge unlike some IHOP and Denny's. (Yes, you can tell by my choice of eaterie that I am a gourmand ).
