Suggestions needed for New York nightlife

My #1 guy (who is 21) is coming up to visit me next weekend and we're planning to be in New York City for some fun. My friend has never been to the Big Apple, so I want to show him a great time, but I'm not very savvy in this regard. Can any of you New Yorkers familiar with the gay scene, especially dance clubs, bars, restaurants, etc. steer us in the right direction with some suggestions? How about some help from Rick Munroe, Traveller, or anyone else familiar with the night life?

I'm not much of a bar kinda guy, but my thoughts are:

 

Splash is a fun place, very good looking men and boys. On Saturday, the place is Roxy. On Sunday, I'd go to Drama at the Limelight. It's in an old church, really fun.

 

Have a blast!

Beige on Tues. night. Spa on Thurs. night. XL any night. Haven't tried Earth - Junior's new club, which would be Sat. night. Roxy on Sat? - don't know if Earth has cannibalized it. Body & Soul on Sun afternoon. Stella's for drinks and dick any time. Gaiety for over-muscled, straight boys without toddies.
