You could ask them. They have a message board, and probably a link somewhere to email them.

Their listings include guys like Holden Grey who retired a year or more ago. The one useful thing is their listing of most recent login and update dates, which should provide some indication of who is still active.

Like this site, we depend on escorts and clients to inform us when an escort is no longer active. That is a consequence of listing reviews or profiles on voluntary basis.

 

Many escorts do inform us when they retire and they are removed. Clients also inform us if an escort has retired or if they have trouble raising a response. We attempt to contact the escort to verify his status and take appropriate action. There are some that do get by us. If you fail to receive a response then let us know and we will attempt to follow up.

 

As deej suggested, it seems more appropriate that a direct answer to your question be be sought from the horse's mouth, MaleEscortReview.com, rather than in this forum. No disrespect to this forum. One way to avoid the problem of perceived dead listings might be to require the escort to log in every six (four, two?) months, placing on hold those accounts which do not. A proactive fix may work better than a reactive one.

I agree. That has been on our To DO list.

 

Many active escorts register and forget, as they do not revisit their profile once placed. This is not uncommon. It is unfortunate that these guys have to deal with a process meant to ferret out dead listings.

Not anymore. I figured why put off the inevitable. This is my last time to roll the postometer over an n-thousand mark.

Yes, I can confirm from personal experience that they do update their website but it's based on user input. Unfortunately one of the escorts that I knew in my area OD'd and it was kind of eerie to see his listing still appearing weeks later. I notified them via their discussion boards and the listing was gone in under a week.

 

The one that's REALLY bad about removing listings is Men4Rent http://www.men4rentnow.com I know that most of the postings in my area are without phone numbers and that's a sure a sure sign of a stale listing with them. Their marketing strategy is leave the e-mail link but point it at a bot that generates mail to the escort saying that there is someone interested in contacting them... if only they'll renew.
