Late reply to this post. I've not hired Henrik, but I've contacted him. His Rentboy ad was marked green, 'Available Now.' Texted him and it turned how he was not available 'til after 6pm. Fine. He asked if I had a time for that evening. I went for 9pm and he agreed. I asked that he confirm with me by 7pm as I feel the onus was/is on him to confirm considering he was actively looking for clients. Didn't hear back from him at 7, so to be fair, I texted him at 8:30 pm and wrote that given our agreement and the current time, i assumed he would not be coming. He wrote back that he just got out of the office and then needed to get to the gym. Could I do later? Well, with getting to his home, then to the gym, then showering -- I couldn't imagine what time 'later' would be. And, based on his remark that he had a 'loooonngg f##king day,' I replied that perhaps he'd be too tired to meet up in any case. He replied 'lose the attitude.' Well, projection is the operative word here. I don't do well attempting to set up an appointment with 20-somethings -- and even escorts in their 30s or 40s don't follow through as agreed. So, based on my experience -- and I have a good deal of experience hiring escorts -- my opinion of Henrik is that he hasn't a clue that the relationships he seeks via his ad are business relationships, and following through, at least with timely communication, is a must. And assuming I was throwing him attitude is hardly a good way for an escort to secure clients. His ad goes up and down, and as many escorts have told me over the years -- the business is tough. Not enough good clients to go around. And I'm a reasonable, generous client. There are a good 450 escorts on average to choose from in the NYC area, and though screening is a necessary evil, I usually do okay. Henrik on the other hand has probably had few if any clients. That's my gut instinct.

There's a good chance a lot of us aren't going to know who Henrik is if he only advertises occasionally - and that original post is from 2007. Six years is a looong time in escort years. There have been many escorts gone into and out of the business in that span. Do you have a link for him?

I think Glenn 1441 was actually being very diligent if he bothered to search for existing threads on Henrik to respond to instead of just creating a new one.

 

Since the original link is 6 years old (and likely form rentboy's previous incarnation with different file structures) it would also help to have an updated link to the escort in question, although the name is so familiar I think I remember who the escort is/what he looks like.
