If you're looking for a travel companion, that's a different thing.

Yes, I agree we NEED to know what are you looking for? I have tried to meet someone and then plan a trip together. I must admit it was much harder than I thought it would be. Let me explain a little more. I started chatting with a few guys in the local chat rooms and also from the travel partner wanted boards. To make a long story short its difficult to agree on where to go, places to stay, time to go, how to split the cost, etc... I eventually gave up on the idea alteast for now. :-(

I am single right now. I usually travel 4 times a year. The travel partner I seek would be purely a friend. I have not traveled for about 9 months and I am going nuts. Don't get me wrong I am helping President bush support the economy, I do see escorts when I travel and will continue to do so, for dinner and an evening, but it could get real expensive to pay for a whole trip.

 

Probably a short trip like London, Paris or San Diego to see Michael. If I was compatible, in a friendship way I would love to go on a longer trip to Europe, Australia, or where ever.

Good travel companions are extremely difficult to find. Personality traits that can seem charming over dinner and the movies can become very irritating seen day-to-day. Isn't there someone you already know that would be a possibility? Someone you enjoy and would like to get to know a bit better? Don't exclude women in your quest. My favorite travel companion of all time was a woman 35 years older than me. We made several trips to Mexico, many to Europe and went on a 7-week junket to Southeast Asia. Our interests and attention spans were similar, which helped. We also gave each other room to explore by ourselves. It was extremely entertaining to compare notes in the morning over breakfast. I still miss her.

Hi Rickx, I'm always on the look-out for a travel partner. I have a couple of friends that I travel with from time to time, one is gay but not in to some of the things I like to do when I travel; things like strip clubs and escorts. The other is straight. I've always thought it would be fun to travel with someone who not only likes to do the regular tourist activities, but also likes gay strip clubs and is into escorts or dancers for rent. I'm totally not looking for sex or a relationship with travel partner. Just someone easy going who likes to do what I like to do.
