Maybe it's just me, but the selection of escorts has gotten to be almost a joke in LA these days. All you see on RentBoy are twinks who need to eat, barebackers (in and out of their own secrecy), overpriced porn stars and the same guy who posts about 7 different ads using just about everyone's photos he can steal. The few that are hot, hardly ever call you back.

And just about forget craigslist. If you want the pathetic Sereen you'll be in luck, otherwise the CL flagger will wipe out any chance of possibly a good listing. And now what cracks me up, those who do get a posting in, we have to send face photos of ourselves with a full biography. Good lord.

Frontiers. Pretty much has gone to the dust. Same ads you've seen for the least 5+ years.

The city of angels has somewhat become the city of duds. I guess I will have to rely on more traveling escorts who make stops in LA. Thank god Marcos David was just here. Love him.

Anyway, just wanted to vent. Who knows, maybe I am the only one who feels this way.

I checked out the rentboys who have listed in the past week. Jay Ganymede is the cutest of the 69 listings I looked at. Rico Suave looks hot, but I hear he is a dud in bed. Maybe San Antonio is the place to look for escorts now...

Thank God Bruno Gaucho has been here for a few days and will be until Monday morning.

All of the following guys are currently available in the Los Angeles area and are definitely worth the time, effort, and money to set-up a get together. I have spent time with all of these guys and they are not only great in the sack they are great across a lunch or dinner table. They are also all MEN and NOT teeny bobber twinks.

In alphabetal order

Cutler X

Jay Ganymede

Rod Hagen

I've noticed a lull at this time of year, several years running. We're past pride and the big circuit parties, so not much traveling by escorts. This is the time of the year when the married guys in the closet are vacationing with families. It's the low point of the year for business travel, outside of the Xmas holidays, although for some reason, I often travel for work in the summer--this is how I noticed the seasonal trend. In short, you're not gonna see many credible new faces right now and this is probably a time of the year when veterans decide to bow out. The hangers-on will include some good guys, as well as some questionable types who take advantage of tuorist season.

buckguy,

I think your post says it all. Makes perfect sense.

One good thing about LA right now, it's COOLER.

You got THAT right! It got below 80 early yesterday evening (for the first time in a month) and seemed downright frigid! :+

Well, I used the advance search button to just read the ones who had listed this past week. And the number was 69. Maybe they select that number on purpose?

My trial listing on Rentboy gave me the impression it was a waste of time, so I'm not listed there.

Clients from other states and other countries are always saying to me; "We don't have guys like you in [their city]."

Take a look at my new website:

Thanks babe.

I happen to think we have a great selection of Working Boys in LA. I know I'm never in too much of a bind to find a worthy third. Not that I need him to be successful to pay rent or anything but Justin Masters is a really great one as well!

Granted Bobby Thompson's retirement sucked but I think that statement was a bit premature. There's plenty of great talent in LA.
