Below is an excerpt from an e-mail I sent a friend discussing an experience I had in Dallas yesterday. I was going to post a review but I realize it normally takes a month for a review to be published and these guy(s) can change their identities, etc. several times.

.....I found another cute guy on men4rent. We exchanged several e-mails. His name (he said) was Eric Mendez. He was listed on men4rent as "XXL_4younow". His ad also showed his telephone number, He told me to call him when I arrived in Dallas so yesterday afternoon I called him and arranged an appointment for 5:00P. At 5 there was a knock on my door and I looked through the peep hole. I could tell it was not the same guy shown on the website but, since he was very cute, I opened the door. He came in, we made small talk, and hit the sheets. Another verification it was not "Eric" - his dick was smaller than the photo shown in "Eric's" listing. After we were finished (only somewhat satisfactory), I questioned him regarding his identification. He admitted he was not Eric; that Eric was his best friend and was out of town so he (Cheyenne) filled in. We discussed a review on m4m, I took a couple of photos, and he left, after giving me his e-mail address and telephone number. Well, this morning when I checked out of the hotel, there was an $81.00 charge on my bill from a hotel restaurant. The hotel cancelled the charge without question. I was a little disappointed that they didn't check it out a little more. They didn't even check for my signature on a ticket. Oh - did I mention - the charge was not mine!! So I guess Cheyenne entertained his friends after seeing me. That is a new one - I have never heard of the restaurant "scam". I couldn't wait to get home and post a review on men4rentnow! When I accessed the website, Eric's listing had already been changed!!!!! He had changed the name on the listing (now beck_d) and the photos. However, the text and "his" phone number had not been changed!! So be careful if you hire someone listed on men4rentnow. I do know there is no verification of their listings or reviews. I ed the webmaster awhile ago asking him that question(s).

So if you don't want a bait and switch pulled, look out for the names, "Eric Mendez, Cheyenne, and Beck. Look out for telephone numbers 469-358-6722, 214-608-0195, and/or 469-330-7900. Possible e-mail addresses - Eric - hung_1_4unow@hotmail.com: Cheyenne - chy83nic@yahoo.com.

ps - I am not absolutely sure that Cheyenne made the $81. charge

This scam continues. There was a Dallas review on this site just a few days ago for I am sure the same guys. I think I even know the 2 guys who are doing this. They have never done me wrong, but they have forever ran phoney ads and sent others out in their place. Names will not do you any good; they change them, pictures too. Ph #'s routinely change also. It is best to go with the reviewed. Hot escorts with good reviews are found right here. Go elsewhere at your own risk. If not reviewed, run it by the Deli with questions. It usually works for me, with good results.

I think that people who travel often could have run into this kind of "scam".

On my last visit to Washington DC there was a charge on my bill from the hotel's restaurant which wasn't mine. The front desk cancelled the charge with no question asked. I don't think this was a "scam", but most likely a mistake.

In this instance I would have to agree with Steven that is a posting error by the hotel. Happens all the time when staff get busy and distracted. That's why its a good idea to hold on to all the receipts and review the charges at the desk at check out.

I never use video or express check out for this reason. It's a good idea to look the charges over the day before you check out and then you know you have a clean bill when you check out the next day.

RE: Restaurant "scam"

Yes, hotel billing errors like this are FAR too common.

Telephone charges are particularly ripe for this. Who remembers? :-(

When I checked out of a Hyatt in Seattle recently, there was a mini-bar charge. I'd refused the key to the mini-bar on check-in, so it was clearly an error.

I seriously doubt this restaurant charge was from the escort. He'd just perpetrated a scam. Why the HELL would he want to hang around?!?!? (Then, again, stupidity knows no limits... :p )

Just so we do not go to far afield, the first and most important thing here is the guy who showed was not who was hired. I do not know why you opened the door. I know you were horny, but you were letting yourself enter a dangerous situation.

If all that happened was a possible restaurant charge (which I agree is just as likely a hotel error or someone else in hotel getting a free meal) he could have been a real thief or worse.

When I am in a hotel room and expecting someone new, I keep the room dead quiet and approach the peep hole very quietly and make sure it looks like the guy. Up to now it always has been. I have only the money due in the room everything else including carkeys and watch in room safe or hotel safe.

You are simply encouraging this type of activity by these scam artists by meeting with them. When they call me back I wait until I am out of the room and I return call and tell them they can not scam me. Thank you very much for reporting this here.

Big D is right use reviewed escorts and there are some real good ones. Rick Bogdan and Jaimie Ansaloni come to mind.

I doubt very much that he did. The same thing happened to me. Upon checking out of a hotel in DC there was a charge for "lunch" from the hotel restaurant. I had never been in the hotel restaurant. And the charge could not have been from an escort or anyone else who visited me, because I didn't have an escort or anyone else come to visit me at the hotel on that trip. It was obviously either a mistake or else someone either deliberately or accidentally giving the wrong room number.

>At 5 there was a knock on my door and

>I looked through the peep hole. I could tell it was not the

>same guy shown on the website

*This* is the scam, and the mistake, if any, was to let him in and go ahead with the appointment. But you said

> > >since he was very cute, I opened the door.

So, in other words, you were aware of the substitution in advance and agreed to it.

>He came in, we made small talk, and hit the

>sheets. Another verification it was not "Eric" - his dick was

>smaller than the photo shown in "Eric's" listing. After we

And apparently he performed the things that were expected, though you may not have found them as enjoyable as with some others.

Even so, though, you discussed reviewing him and took some photos.

>We discussed a review on m4m, I took a

>couple of photos, and he left, after giving me his e-mail

>address and telephone number.

So it doesn't sound a whole lot like you were burned in some scam. Not like when a guy doesn't deliver and you have to pay him anyway, or you send him money up front (*never* do that) and he evaporates.

>I questioned him

>regarding his identification. He admitted he was not Eric;

>that Eric was his best friend and was out of town so he

>(Cheyenne) filled in.

>...

>When I accessed the website, Eric's

>on the listing (now beck_d) and the photos.

This is the only thing that may have been wrong here: the substitution of a different guy. The explanation he gave is even plausible, although not really proper, but the fact that the ad was changed right away undermines it. And he should have volunteered that at the beginning and asked if it was OK, not admitted it under questioning at the end. But you *did* have the opportunity to refuse him when he arrived, and instead you decided to accept the substitution. And apparently even after the appointment you were still satisfied enough to plan to write a review and take some photos.

It sounds to me like the main reason you are so hot under the collar about this guy is that you think he charged a restaurant bill to you. But that seems very unlikely. So I think you should let your blood pressure go down before writing the review, and review him on his performance, including the substitution. But not blast him for supposedly trying to scam you for a meal or bilking you out of your money with some nefarious scheme. You said "he was very cute," so it's not even clear that there was any malicious intent in the substitution. Not like if some guy is using bait and switch because he'd never get any nibbles if he used his own pictures. Anyway, that's how it seems to me.

A friend of mine that knows I escort told me this morning that he attempted to hire a Dallas escort off of rentboy.com that goes by Big Ben and was ripped off last night. The appt was supposed to be $250/hr for 2 hours...the escort asked for $ upfront (yes...now my buddy knows that is a red flag)...my friend put the money down...went to the bathroom...escort grabbed money and ran out door. When he tried to call the escort later to find out what was going on, the number picked up like it was a fax machine. Maybe these guys all work together or something. Anyways...I educated my friend about this site and he will be posting a review about the incident. I assured him that there are plenty of guys in Dallas that would not rip him off, and to consult hooboy first.

Jason,

The Big Ben ad on Rentboy is the same people. I am sure of this.

It is advisable to check the reviews and proceed cautiously when

hiring an escort anywhere, but for sure in Dallas right now.

In most cases I would agree. However, in this case I confirmed that the charge was made by one of the boys who had my name and room number. I sent Chyenne an e-mail when I returned home telling him I hoped he enjoyed the food, etc. He responded saying that a friend of his made the charge so it was not a mistake by the hotel. However, the hotel did cancel the charges since signatures did not match.
