Can someone make more sense of what this guy is saying? I've read it a dozen times now and I still don't get it.

You're not the only one. Perhaps those that post messages here that don't understand or speak English well should say that up front, so maybe we could be more understanding.

Hey Jeff,

X-man is a masseur who apparently chose to become intimate with at least one of his clients. The client posted a good review but must have revealed more than massage occured.

Now X-man feels vulnerable and perhaps even violated. Whatever they shared, X-man considered it special, if not a unique relationship. X-man is surprised and hurt his client publicly aired their private affairs. Makig matters worse, his client was proud of writing the review.

X-man is distraught by the exposure. Now he's uneasy with their relationship and where it stands.

X-man considers himself a masseur and his rates reflect that profession. But he has reached a crossroad. He's attracted by some benefits of escorting, but uncomfortable having intimate relations with people he finds unattractive.

I would translate it: "I have issues. Lots and LOTS of issues."

Zach, thanks for the translation. I had figured out most of that, but I just wanted to make sure I was reading it right. I

agree Charon...issues! And perhaps English is not his 1st language.

Zach: After you decide to leave escorting, may I suggest a career in the diplomatic corps? You'd be great at it.

Issues, but natural ones. Why do so many people just assume that a masseur will have no trouble with the line between massage and escorting? For me, even when I was doing both, there was a large difference between the two and I worked at keeping it that way.

It sounds to me like he has a problem with being lumped in with escorts on this site, as if he is somehow morally superior. He

says he thinks it's great that "escorts" sell nothing but sex

and that he has thought about doing it himself. I just didn't

appreciate the tone of his rambling e-mail. I know several

guys who do "bodywork" or "massage", but will do more

depending upon the physical appearance of the client. I think that's pretty shitty. There's a guy here in town who offers "massage", but does pretty much the same thing I do. He won't admit to it, but a few of our mutual clients have told me he does more than give a massage. It seems to me you're either a masseur or you are a hooker. I give massages, but I wouldn't call

myself a masseur. I'm proud to be a prostitute/hooker/sex therapist. I don't believe this man is proud of whatever it is that he does..."bodywork" or "massage".

I know who the X-Men are but who is X-Man? Is he reviewed here? Why the code name? (and does he where a tight, flashy costume?)

I also know who that X-Man is as well. His book has been cancelled and he discorporated himself-too many variant timelines in the Marvel universe in my opinion. Do you have a picture of the X-Man we are talking about?
