411 on David Forest Pandering Trial?

The other day I was over at Muscelservice.com checking out the message board and there was a thread about the latest David Forest scandal and trial. I did not get the chance to finish the tread and have tried to locate it unsuccessfully.

 

In short, it appears that porn star Rod Barry turned into a witness for the prosecution in the recent pandering trial. From what I vaguely recall Mr. Forest did not take too kindly to Rod’s action and apparently issued a press release trashing Rod and revealing his legal name.

 

He went so far as to claim that Rod was on his way down to Buenos Aires to shoot videos for a company specializing in tranny films. Forest painted a vivid picture of Rod bottoming for some well hung chick with a dick.

 

What was not clear to me was the cause for this breach between Forest and Rod and how that led to the latest charges. In the end Forest got acquitted of the charges and so it’s still legal to “introduce” potential clients to porn star or escort and charge a fee. What the client and escort arrange is between them.

 

Has anybody out there got the 411 on this story or direct to a website that might outline the whole mishigosh? I am a little vague on the details and its possible the jist of what I have stated may not be fully on target. That's way I am asking for info on this situation.

Well, first of all, pretty much everything you'll read anywhere is conjecture. I doubt any participant on MSS or here was on the jury, or a member of the legal team on either side.

 

Some things are known:

 

* David Forest was arrested and charged with 2 counts each of pandering and pimping following a police sting.

* The two models involved testified for the prosecution. Nobody but them knows why, but covering their own asses is probably a safe bet.

* Forest was acquitted on all four charges (leaving only sentencing for the substance charge to which he previously plead guilty.)

 

ALL of the rest is PR and speculation, much of it put forward by Forest himself.

 

Yes, it's true that Barry does Tranny videos. He's said several times they're his favorites to make, but it has nothing to do with this matter so your guess is as good as anyone's why it's even being mentioned.

 

And just to be clear, it has NEVER been illegal to run an introduction service. That wasn't the charge here. Saying "now it's legal to..." is a diversion.

Deej, thanks for the clarification of the facts here. Its pretty hard to filter out the conjecture and BS from a posting on a message center or web site.

That is a very good point. No doubt Mr. Forest thought of this as he stated Barry's real name in the relase. (And a matter of public record anyway.) He plays the victim really well.

Well my guess would be that Mr. Forest wanted to paint Rod in the worst light possible and the visual of a hot guy like that bottoming in a tranny film pretty much does that. Regardless, Rod is one of my all time favorite porn stars.

Very good point again and that's something I had not considered. The post I read made it sound like it was some precedent-setting judegment. All in how you spin it as they say.

IMHO. Rod Barry was always Entertaining in most of his Videos, I have watched over the year's! The Orgy including the "Little Bro" was Hot, in one of his Newer ones. It will be interesting to see if His involvement with the Forest Case, and all the details, will have any effect on his Future "Film Work"?

He could probably keep that "Little Boy with the Dirty Mind" personna going til he's 40! IMHO of course. :7
