You know, there are several ways to look at this from YOUR point of view. (Unfortunatlely, none of them particularly pleasant.)

 

But think of this....

 

He could steal pictures from anywhere on the web but chose YOURS because they're so darn good.

 

Just keep telling yourself you're too good for your own good! It won't help a damn bit but if you keep repeating it maybe you'll get distracted. ;-)

I can understand about the pictures but not about the text from my website. Just a few days ago, I had a very interesting conversation with an escort from Las Vegas who copied and pasted into his M4RN profile a whole portion from my website. And I am aware that my English is not perfect. It's rather amusing. :-)

If a imposter is using another escorts pictures on Rentboy, wouldn't it be possible to complain to Rentboy directly? After all escorts pay to advertise on Rentboy, so they should be able to talk to someone at Rentboy directly.

They should and do. This guy has been using Hot Rio Guy "Sandro Borges" photos since he started Advertising. Every once in awhile he throws somebody else's photo up. This has been going on quite awhile now. IF anybody has ever called him on it, nothing much has been done.:+

I sent a message to the administrator of the site the day I saw Steven's post. Pointed out that the pic was not "Modigliani" and that this was not the first time he's stolen pics. No reply of course but I was not expecting one.

 

Guys like these need to be called out on practices like this. Not that it will stop them but at least it let's them know there are clients who can't be deceived.

To respond BearDad58's question - it is possible but it takes too much time and energy. The last time I had a long email exchange with Rentboy when an escort from LA (now retired) "borrowed" my pictures. Since then I just post occasionally here or I would send a personal note to the escort letting him know that "I like 'his' pictures" and that "he has a good taste".
