Does anybody where one can get GOOD or GREAT Chicago style pizza in the Los Angeles area?

I haven't found it.

 

When I first moved to LA, we had some pizza delivered for a "getting to know you" thing at the office and my co-workers RAVED about how great the pizza from this place was.

 

Then one of them looked at me and said "Wait! You're from Chicago. It won't seem so great to you." :7

 

Let's face it, LA is NOT known as a food town. Chicago is.

 

Several years back, Jay Leno taped the Tonight Show in Chicago for a week. On the last night, he compared LA cuisine with Chicago cuisine.

 

LA: A huge plate with two sprigs of asparagus and two shrimps with some unknown sauce drizzled around the plate.

Chicago: Big heaping platter of baby back ribs.
