Pardon me for posting on this thread since I am merely a lurker for the most part. I have my biases having posted on escortspeak but also liking Daddy for the civility he showed me for the first time I posted here. Daddy called me and very helpfully made sure I could register and post. He did not need to be so kind to me. Nonetheless, and God help me, I do enjoy the "bloodsport" of these interchanges.

What do I make of all this? Aside from the brilliant dailectics of certain posters I admire (namely Doug69 and woodlawn), what I'm left with is the very troubling point that client confidences will be revealed, secondhand so to speak, as pure hearsay, in 15 minute blogs. That fact lessens the reliability and sensational value of the account. Is it even accurate?

Assuming it is, why is Richard Hatch (whom I despise) entitled to less protection than KYTtop or Chuck50 or Lucky or Doug69 or myself? Isn't there something very dangerous in the notion that, solely for the egotisitical and promotional purposes of BN, he will drop your name to show how much "in" the supposedly "in" he is? Despicable!

Many thanks.

He isn't entitled to less. I hope Doug will correct me if I'm wrong, but it is my understanding that the same source also revealed personal information about Chuck50. Nothing was done about that either.

I don't know that following the suggestion of FourAces and dropping the link to BN's blog would do any good, but if "Daddy" had any real commitment to the principles he keeps proclaiming he would do as Hooboy sometimes did and put a flag on BN's reviews to warn prospective clients about his behavior. Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen, however.

Doug says:

>Yes, that's right, Franco - here comes Doug - saying that it's wrong >for escorts to disclose information they learn about clients, and >also saying that it's wrong for escorts to dishonestly tell >prospective clients that they engage in safe sex only when, in fact, >they troll around the Internet seeking load after load in their >hungry hole.

>

>Since I never disclosed client confidences or lied about my safe sex >activities and never would engage in such reprehensible activities, >I think I'm as good as anyone to bring these important matters to >light.

>

>I just don't like escorts who violate client confidences or who lie >and claim that they into "safe sex only" when they, in fact, are >hungry barebacking bottoms begging for loads in their hole.

I excerpted the above comments about this issue. I tried to post on Saturday but my computer I was using shut down and lost the post. Anyway, I guess I'm missing something here. How can anyone disagree with the above viewpoints about an escort violating personal info of their clients and acting like its no big deal or trying to rationalize it? Would anyone who posts on this site like their personal info broadcast here or to other escorts or clients without their approval? I can't believe that the answer would be yes! I think BN violating his clients personal info (or info learned from escort friends of his' clients) just cannot be defended and is reprehensible. Its not that complicated guys so why are some of you defending this behavior and as someone pointed out why is it being defended by this site managers?

In BN's most recent 15 Minutes:

"It was brought to my attention that some might have gotten the idea that 15 Minutes was going to break away from the site that started it all for me, HooBoy's Male4Male Review. Nothing could be further from the truth my friends. I'm still a weekly contributor as usual and things will remain the way they always have. A big eye-batting apology to those who'd rather see me (and this column) in the gutter: It ain't happening. I'm still having way too much fun.

The one thing i would change in hindsight was last week's gossip tidbit about Richard Hatch. While it wasn't wrong of me to divulge the general gossip piece, it was unprofessional in how i quite stupidly revealed my source. I apologize to any who might have taken this the wrong way and congratulate Hatch on having the brass tacks to show off his 26 year old arm candy last week at TigerHeat in LA. How very Ian McKellen of you Richard. I love it."

No comment on BN's perspectives, but I will say that I still have to agree with the original poster:

Anyone interested in hiring escorts and doing so privately should be aware that you have to choose carefully if you want to be assured of confidentiality.
