Over the last two months I been chatting with this traveling escort about coming to Philly at my cost for the weekend. Everything was going well until about two weeks ago. I was gettin ready to book the airline for him and was informed that he only flys one airline because he gets flying miles, also I was told his airline only made one change of planes and that's better for him. Now my airline only had one change also.

 

I was thinking bull shit, I'm paying for the ticket on a airline that I get flying points on so that's the airline he will use. Now the best part before I had time to say a word to him he said that he only flys "FIRST CLASS". Without thinking the first words out of my mouth was "FUCK YOU" who the hell you think you are saying that. At that point I said thanks but no thanks, I don't think I need to see someone that thinks he is the KING of escorts with his head so far up his "ASS". No fuckin escort in worth that. Just like to know what other clients would think if a escort said that to you.

I would not have a problem with using their preferred airline as long as the price was comparable to one I was going to book for him. As for first class, I don't pay for first class for myself, I would not pay first class for him and would consider such a request as arrogance. If the Escort wanted to use some of his own airline points to upgrade himself, I'd have no concern about that.

For an escort to demand first class is just fucking crazy! If he wants to fly first class let him do it on his own dime. When I have been flown to see someone my choice of airline is usually the least expensive and if I want to fly first which I usually do just so that I know I will be rested I do it on my own dime or frequant flier miles. Probably good choice on telling him no thanks Yng.

I usually go with the escorts chosen airline, unless the price is very different from everyone else. Normally I look for the best or shortest flight for them, which sometimes costs more, but is more convienent and comfortable for the escort. If the escort then said "First Class" I would decline the meeting, assuming that he would carry that same attitude along with him in everything we did during his stay with me.

I have done several fly ins. The first guy wanted to do the set up himself and had his travel agent contact me and I actually liked that, very professional. Since I have done the rest myself. I had only one insist on an airline. Up front I had no problem, however, after reviewing the flight schedule availability and my schedule, his airline choice was not going to work. My location just is not a big destination for his airline. When I informed him that the flight schedule would not work for me but two other airline schedules would and about $100 cheaper. He was insistent on using his airline of choice. I opted to say no. At first I was angry about it, but I have learned since that the escort has the right to set his terms and I have the right to say no and it is not personal, strictly business. I need to respect that opinion.

 

I have handled four other flyins. Every single one I sent options, first based upon my schedule and then cost. Each one made a selection from my choice and each one was satisfied when they arrived and returned home. I have had a couple of other possiblities and the biggest demand I recieved was a preference in airport to leave from and if I could get a certain airline great, but was never required. So one out of nine is not bad.

 

So in the end if the escorts business is that good that he can get those kind of terms, hey his choice. There are clients where money is not the most important factor.

I've had varied experience but it's all worked out. One escort from Las Vegas used to fly into the Ontario, CA airport on a regular basis, he was content with a Southwest e-ticket in his name and a copy of the confirmation emailed to him.

 

Others have requested specific airlines, and if the cost is within a reasonable margin of my own fare research, I book his request. The assumption is that the escort has frequent flyer miles or upgrade certificate if he's requesting a specific airline.

That's fine with me, because, as I learned the first time, the escort has FF miles or an upgrade certificate for his airline, and wants to fly first. The frequent flyer miles I might get by booking him on my airline are outweighed by that consideration, I think.I have never had an escort demand First Class, and to pay for first class is ridiculous. There used to be a real first class on airlines, when I was growing up, but that was when I took quill pens to school.

Dan granted first is no longer as fancy as it used to be since all the cut backs I have to agree with that but I myself like to fly first because usually 99.99% of the time there are no screaming children kicking the back of my seat. One of the last times I flew coach I had a little heathen kicking the back of my seat for almost 2 1/2 hours and continued to do so after I asked the flight attendant to ask the mother to control her heathen because I would not have been so nice and probably would have had the police waiting for me at LAX. But like I said on my first post when I fly first it is on my dime and it is only $50 one way to upgrade on Alaska.

I would never dream of asking a client to pay for first class for me. Generally my only request is if they can book me for a nonstop flight, which I have never felt to be asking too much. When flying from the east coast to the west coast which is generally what I do, it's just too grueling to be laid over somewhere in the middle for 2 hours or so.

I had that shit happen to me on a trip to...wait for it...Rio !!!! I had two kids sitting next to me for the whole trip and they literally climbed under and over me. I love kids and I told the parents that it was ok...one of them actually fell asleep half across my lap. I regretted my decision to tell the parents that it was okay for the kids to play after about 2 hours in to the trip. I started fantasizing about how I could create a short film about the importance of abortion (I kid you not and Im Catholic).

 

However, I think you may have won the annoying-ness factor cause kicking the back of your chair fucks you up, big time !!! I messes with your inner ear and balance and the continued unexpected jarring is like Chinese water torture.

As for first class travel, it's nice, but ultimately it's just a bigger seat and bag of nuts. Personally, i've NEVER asked to fly first when escorting. That's why God invented mileage upgrades. Some airlines out there are even still doing the whole comp upgrade thing based on open seating. In today's world of commercial air, i think that most frequent flyers are willing to take anything the airline is willing to throw at them in terms of a perk.
