I'm curious about this "party" drug.

1) If you have never used it before, will it work the first time?

2) Those straight boys in the clubs--if they are using it, will they really find guys attractive? Does anyone have any experience with this?

3) If it makes you impotent, why do people use it to "get in the mood".

Any info would be great. I'm very curious about this drug, but I don't think I would ever try it. I'm just too vanilla with drug use--I don't even drink imported beer! I do like the fantasy of a hot college jock in a club making out with me after he popped a pill, but I wonder if that ever happens.

1) Yes, it will work the first time, but if you do it alot, you

will build up a tolerance and have to do more and more to get the

same effect.

 

2) The most I've ever done with a "straight" boy on X is kiss,

bump and grind on the dance floor.

 

3) Not all guys have problems with erections while on X and now

guys are taking Viagra to offset any difficulties they may have

from doing coke, crystal and ecstacy.

 

Ecstacy releases massive amounts of serotonin creating feelings

of euphoria. You feel LOVE. You'll find yourself smiling like a

fool all night. You become much less inhibited and quite chatty.

But, the downside is when you come down off of it. Quite often,

you're worn out and depressed.

Is there any connection between ecstacy and what we used to call MDA? It sounds like they work about the same way.

Yes ecstasy is a chemical offshoot of MDA...specifically MDMA which as well as being an amphetamine has significantly enhanced ability for seratonin release. Over time it can almost completely deplete your seratonin stores in the brain leaving you without much ability to experience happiness at all.

I'm not sure about ecstasy but I believe Kyle Bradford used to give Tommy massive doses of melon-flavored gatorade before their love tussles. He claims Tommy thrust his tongue into his mouth, and his hands into his wallet, much more deeply on gatorade night.

P.P.S.: Recovery is much simpler the morning after a gatorade and Fritos bender as you most likely will remember what you say-did. Your friends also will, most likely, be still speaking with you and don't need to have a "serious talk."

One other possible side effect: I met my third husband, perhaps the closest I came to making a mistake, while at a bathhouse on MDA. He took my inability to achieve an erection as a sure sign of love. I wonder if the drug made me take him seriously when I wouldn't have otherwise? I did warn him that night that it wasn't practical because I was about to change cities, but he almost immediately said that he would come with me. Ah, well, probably TMI time already. ...
