A few years ago who would have thought that there would be so many movies about homosexuals? It seems that three quarters of all the new independent films and almost all of the recent releases from France are filled with fags. The final straw for me was reading in today’s paper that George Lucas’s next Star Wars epic is titled “Attack of the Clones.” Could it be a spin-off from the famous bar scene in the first film in the series? Will we be subjected to militant spacemen garbed in plaid flannel shirts all wearing mustaches? What is the world coming to?

Yes, it's definitely cool to do queer these days. I remember the days when "Making Love" (Michael Ontkean & Harry Hamlin) was considered "racy". Now we have TV shows like "Queer as Folk" where in the first episode a lead character says "now you know what rimming is!" after demonstrating.

 

All we need is that next step ... for the guys who do those scenes to admit they enjoyed them. And maybe even a few more out actors.

 

Time marches on, and that's not always a bad thing.
