I corresponded briefly with him about 2 years ago and at that time he was not doing well. As I recall, he was receiving some sort of alternative treatment for the disease he was suffering from (MD?), but I don't think the long-term prospects were good. He also said he was on the verge of loosing his house. It was all very sad. I have thought of him often and wondered how he was doing, but I've lost my contact info for him and he's just kind of vanished. Under the circumstances, I can understand entirely and it's probably what I would do as well. I asked Hooboy not too long ago if he has heard anything and he said he hasn't heard from him in ages. I sure wish him the best.

I haven't thought about Jason Reardone in quite some time, so I am glad that someone brought it up.

 

I always thought that he was TOPS as an escort, and as far as posting goes, he had a certain style that belied his inate intelligence. No bullshit, somewhat unassuming, no pretentions, no attempt to self-market himself. The facts, as they were, spoke for themselves.

 

I may get a lot of flack for this, but I do believe that many of the newer escorts, particularly the so-calles superstars, can learn a lot from the way JR behaved and presented himself.

Can't say enough good things about Jason. He was one of my first regular guys, and he still would be my focus if he was around.

 

I too lost contact with him about 2 years ago, and it worried me a lot since I figured he'd respond to or contact me at some point if he could. To be honest, I helped him out financially a couple of times after he had to stop escorting, and while it didn't involve huge sums of money (at least not compared to my old annual escort budget, lol), he clearly appreciated it. He knew I'd keep trying to help him, and I knew that things weren't going in the right direction for him health-wise, so when I lost contact with him, it led me to believe the worst. I pray that's not the case, but I'm not optimistic. The last couple of times that he emailed me, he mentioned that he had a companion who was taking very good care of him, and I was thankful for that at least.

 

I'll end by saying that the vast majority of the boys who I've hired (and there have been many, lol) have given me much more than what I gave them in return -- and I mean that with all sincerity. While I've pretty much moved on from this phase in my life and have (almost) totally stopped hiring, whenever I think of guys like Jason (and Justin #2, Bobby Thompson, Scott Adler, Athan, Richard in LV, Aaron Mark in LV ...), I instantly get a big smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart (and elsewhere, lol), and I can't thank them enough for that.

I assume that you searched under his real name rather than (or possibly in addition to) his screen name -- not trying to be a smart ass -- just checking.

 

And, just as a comment for those who might ask, no, I'm not going to give out his real name to anyone that doesn't already know it (and, if you have to ask, ...).

 

Once again, a truly wonderful guy. No, he wasn't perfect, but who is? Like most people, though, he really didn't deserve the problems he had, and I can only wish him the best where ever he is.

I'm a new poster but have been reading the message ceneter for a while. I have the resources to confirm if Jason has passed away. And I will do this without charge.

I actually met Jason one night at Numbers here in L.A. I recognized him from his pics and told him who I was. He seemed like a really nice guy and we were supposed to hang out, but our schedules never did mesh and it was shortly thereafter that he got ill.
