Last month we went to Palm Springs on a lark. To be honest, PS looks like Scottsdale, and it certainly just as hot. I had to be convinced that it would be fun. We were deciding on whether to stay at Motel 6 or the All Worlds Resort. Luckily I have received intense training and therapy from Tomcal, and All Worlds Resort it was. It was a Sunday and somewhat slow. Three dudes were taking turns fucking some guy in the sling located on the path to sexual freedom, which perked my interest. Even the saunas in Rio were somewhat more discreet. Later in the evening I noticed a massive traffic jam, circulating among the different gay resorts on Warm Springs. Damn, I had not seen hustler street action like that in years. I could see the need for a traffic cop to direct the crusing action. We had got a two room suite (yes the All Worlds is nice)and I decided to pick up a hustler. Ended up getting one that looked much better in the shawdows, but noetheless took him back. Absolutely nothing memorial. Anyway, we are going back this weekend and I do not want to rely on the street action. All those boys out that night might have been an anormaly (kind of like how the Phoneix newspaper reported 10 days ago that Bush was up by 12 points in Arizona, only to have to report on Friday that Kerry was actually up 2). Warm Sands Drive

 

The area around many of the oldest Palm Springs hotel is known as "Warm Sands" and one its streets, Warm Sands Drive, is a notarious gaunlet or cruise zone. Frankly, I am surprised you found any hustlers there at all. What I have always noticed when I have stayed amongst any of the properties in or near that area or what has been described to me is an area where natives and tourist often cruise for sex, in the traditional means where gay men have done this in parks and neighborhoods in major cities from London to Manhattan, or Atlanta to San Francisco. There likely are working boys in some of the cruise areas in all urban areas, so I imagine I should be far from surprised that you could find any on Warm Sands Drive.

 

However, unless your standards are very exacting or your needs very specific, I would imagine that you would be able to find a warm body on the street who will not expect financial compensation afterwards. The few tourist visit Palm Springs on the weekends and only on the weekends. It is a dry heat but you are talking about 100 degree plus weather.
