New York recommendations - agencies or independents

Hi guys,

I'm trying to plan for my trip to NYC in 2 weeks and am striking out in several instances. Scott Adler is leaving town before I arrive and Brian Green's email bounced my message back. I;'m talking to Rick Munroe (and maybe Derek), but I'm still trying to line up a couple of sessions.

 

Any recommendations for versatile/bottom escorts with great oral skills and friendly personalities? Based on recent experiences, I would recommend Chelsea Guys first (top notch, escorts I hired exactly as advertised, on time, etc.), Campus second (not bad the last time I used them). I didn't have a good experience with Maximum last time, but you may have better luck with them.

 

If you want a versatile escort, Matt at Chelsea Guys is great at oral, fantastic bottom and a great top too.

I tend to stay away from agencies because of the additional cost. Plus, there has been a flap this week about a couple of agency escorts in NYC who received negative reviews. Rather than the escorts responding, the agency wrote the rebuttal which seemed a little odd since the agency wasn't present at the session. {shrugs}

I've found that they are less hurried if they don't have to rush back for another dance set. In addition, longer encounters can be planned when they have the rest of the night off. ;-)

 

Another caution on picking up dancers (at any establishment). Most are NOT versatile (bottoms), some receive oral but don't give oral, and others are strictly into body worship. I think many of the dancers classify themselves as bisexual so man-to-man sex isn't always their strongest preference.

In my experience, you can find some hot properties listed on Rentboy without paying the broker fee. That said, I see that there after a dry spell, there are once again some bargains to be found on Campus, Chelsea and A-List. I have not had great experience with A-List though. They don't advertise whether the escort is versatile etc, and don't like to discuss it over the phone. That has led to two unfortunate surprises at the door for me.

Not sure if you are referring just to the Alist here or others as well. I know that Campus and Maximum post information about the likes of its escorts. No need to ask specifics in these cases, just inquire whether the posted info is up to date and accurate. Not fool proof but not flying blind either and such info shouldnt be discussed over the phone for obvious reasons. And I know that Phillip at Campus strives to be accurate.

Jump in with my two cents based in part on my post on the International page about a bad agency experience. I just had a bad one where they promised something and it did not come true and what's more they lied to me.

 

Still I do like agencies if you can find a good one where the "booker" is honest and does more than just read you the script -- which is often on the web page. In NY I have had bad luck with Campus which I think did a bait and switch on me and the guy the ended up pushing on me was highly recommended here and by them but arrived tweeked out I guess. He could not stop giggling for the entire hour.

 

There is a firm called AList -- but I never used them because I found them off putting on the telephone. Agree with the poster who said they are not communicative on the phone. I had a similar issue with ChelseaGuys.

 

Generally I have had good luck with Maximum best in NYC for me but even there you need to be very selective.

 

Check out the web pages and if you are prepared to do some of your own homework here you can likely make the best choices yourself. Also since personality is important to me I like the chatrooms where you can IM or talk to the guys on the phone first. I find it helps make the match.
