Reno is about the worst place to go to look for gay oriented fun.

There is a bathhouse, mostly older guys from the San Francisco area up there for the weekend. Then there are a couple gay bars, neighborhood type places. IF you want to have fun, the best way is bring your own.

Gay life in Reno is pretty scarce. The smaller hotels in Reno are really friendly and very genuinely so. If you are in to gambling in a big way, the gaming in Reno seems more down to earth than in Vegas.

 

Reno is sorta the way Vegas was ages ago when the Mob still ran things and it was loads more fun. My suggestion would be to steer clear of the mega hotels and you'll likely have a better time. I've been to Reno a few times. While I've always managed to have fun, I don't know that I'd go out of my way to go to Reno again.

Another Strange City for Gay Life.

Used to travel there frequently in my prior corporate life however usually found the best connections at Steve`s Bathhouse (formerly Club Reno) with other visitors looking for the same thing. Crowd`s age demo would change considerably based on which convention was in town.
