I've heard lots of ways: asking, telling an escort to whip it out or to touch your cock, and more. Is there a foolproof way to make sure an escort isn't a cop so that you don't get busted?

That's the second best reason for not paying up front--normally they won't bust you if there has been no exchange of money--the john can always say it wasn't his intent to pay--just mess with the escort.

If you don't pay up front, and he continues to do what you expected of him, then he's not a cop or if he is, you don't have to worry about it! }(

Yep, hot sweaty sex is the very best way to make sure an escort isn't a cop whom you need to worry about!

Otherwise, try to make sure you don't agree to exchange money for sex. The money is for the escort's time/companionship.

What 'they like to do' is another conversation.

It should be noted, there is no absolute way, and no matter what you do you can be arrested, which can be quite bad in itself. Convicted is quite another matter, but it's something to always keep in mind.

Walk away from something your gut tells you just isn't right, no matter what your dick is saying. ;)

#1. If the escort has several reviews here from reliable posters.

#2. If you are dealing with and agency with an established reputation.

#3. Always remember that sex and money never belong in the same sentence.

Well as Hooville's very own SME on the sex for hire scene, do tell us all about your experiences. I doubt you have anymore to offer on this topic, YET AGAIN, than the generalized pap stated above.

That's excellent advice. Also, if the escort has done porn flicks, you can be pretty sure he's not a cop (in fact, I'd say that's the only 99.9% guarantee). I also always greet the escort with a big wet kiss the moment we meet. I don't think a cop would do that--and it's a great way to break the ice.

You know, I haven't heard of any john getting into trouble who found his escort through this site, and I'd think we'd hear about it. I'd be interested in hearing from stories about people who got busted, and what the mistake was (i.e. how it could have been avoided).

SME?

Now that you mention it, I have written some on this topic, and I think it is useful advice. My full suggestions (and cautions from others) can be found in the Street Hustler forum as well as some of the Craig's List threads in this forum and the lounge. If anyone has better advice or first hand experience, please post, that's what the thread's for.

Well, unless VaHawk and friends insist on turning this thread, like so many others, into a childish attack and name calling circle-jerk. Though he'll have to carry on without me, I still fail to see any point in that crap (or..., eh, I'll leave that be in hear), especially out of the 'flame war' forumn at the bottom.

I've wondered if a cop working Craig's List or similar might threaten people he's busted with obstruction or interference for warning others about him.

A reviewed escort in here, especially with reviews from people active in here or who have done quite a few (reviews...) is a very safe bet, as long as they match their picture...

Kissing is a great idea too. Something that 'proves they're not a cop' before you hand over or discuss money in person, and them saying they are not a cop is nowhere near good enough (nor is flashing)!

LMAO! You are one of the biggest jerk off flamers on this board as your prior posts reveal 100%. I notice, that you still didn't revel all of us with your personal experiences to back up your generalized, uninformed pap!

Why don't you just fess up that you are a totally naive, inexperienced queer who espouses nothing but uninformed bullshit. You advocate suicide and/or banishment against those who point out your total uninformed bullshit while you engage in out and out circle jerk name calling. Talk about childish, just look in the mirror, dude!

Do you ever have anything to add to a post from your own experiences? Of course not, as you have no experiences! You just parrot what the experienced guys in your LA BooHooVille group reveal to you. You are so PATHETIC! and so TOTALLY DISMISSIBLE as anyone with anything even remotely worthy of hearing based on personal experiences.

You're right, I have no idea whatsoever and you're the great oracle, why did I dare to trespass, to offer my views instead of waiting for the god like voice of so (very, very) much experience to let something useful drop from his lips (for once). Forgive me!

Saying I was going to leave it alone in the hope that the thread could stay usefully on topic for future (or new) readers was like gutting a seal in shark infested waters, wasn't it?

You say I don't post my experience, when in fact I've posted quite a bit, especially in threads related to Craig's List. I stopped because I thought it could be seen as bragful by the likes of...

I've now had three reviews published, one of whom was my own discovery, and just this evening had my third visit with a hot free hookup I think I originally met through Men4SexNow. You're the one that hasn't posted anything of use to anybody that I can remember, and may well never get out from behind your computer, whether it's because you're too decrepit or too scared I do not know.

Posted

Well why don't you post your experiences to shut me up? Oh, I know you have none, you just parrot pap! Keep up the great work of helping others by informing them of your experiences as you have stated that as one of the reasons you post here. Don't you get it Duncehead? Posting regurgitated pap with nothing to back it up with, is totally useless to anyone, so you are defeating your self-appointed Messiah role of bringing the truth to the uninformed/inexperienced masses.

I'd heard this was a decent site.

Sooooooooo not true.

It's all a bunch of hens doing nothing but pecking at each other!!

You behave like immature children - or run of the meal has=been, jaded old queens.

I am sure most here, like me, would like USEFUL information and not the ravings of a bunch of lifeless old hags with nothing to do but come in here and post their bitches, whines and attacks that have nothing to do with the purpose of these boards.

I am certainly not going to be able to rely on any review at this site since many of the participants are obviously just here to cause trouble for anyone that gets on their radar. M4M Escort Reviews, because of these hags, has got to be the LEAST REPUTABLE source of information on the Internet and I, for one, will not be saying good things about this site or its members.

YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you feel that way. The reviews aren't really related to the message center, and I think this is the best resource for male escorts online. Though a couple are unfortunately fictional, the reviews are generally a great way to find out pretty good detail about an escort before you put up your hard-earned money.

I'm sorry this thread has deviated from the subject, I'm sure I'm partially to blame. The wheels don't usually come off the wagon to this extent if you ignore the trolls as you ride over the bridge. You shouldn't let a couple users in the message center taint your views of the whole site, which has had a couple bugs this last week but is still a great place.

My experience on this subject thread, in case you were wondering, while not encyclopedic, consists of hiring about 12 or so different escorts a total of around 20 times over the last 4 months or so from 4 sources. 3 previously reviewed board escorts, 5 or so from LA Craig's list erotic services, a couple off Santa Monica BLVD in WeHo, and two from the Spotlight Bar in Hollywood. I've never encountered a cop, that I know, possibly because I usually walk away if something doesn't seem right. I'd worked with cops in the past, spent some time observing them, and thought about ways to avoid arrest. This experience, thinking, and advice I've gotten from others far more experienced then I are spread throughout several different forums, though mainly in the Street Hustler section. Hopefully you will find it useful if you give it another try.

The spice must flow! Eh, 'the forms must be obeyed' is an even better quote.

There is no "foolproof way to make sure an escort isn't a cop".

Cops are less likely to pose as male escorts than they are as female escorts, so the odds are in your favor. When setting up escorts as opposed to street hookers, cops will often set up sting operations in hotel rooms posing as clients.

You're less likely to encounter a cop posing as an escort, if you have the escort come to your home or hotel room.

There's a myth that police must tell you that they're a cop if you ask. THIS IS NOT TRUE, THEY WILL LIE in order to set you up. They must get you talking about sex and money or get you to touch them in a sexual manner. Also, it DOES NOT MATTER if money has been exchanged or not.

Your best bet is NOT to discuss specific sexual acts and money. Trust your instincts. If you feel uncomfortable, leave!

You're probably safe hiring escorts who've been reviewed here or escorts whose ads you've seen for some time.

Is there a foolproof way to make sure an escort is not a cop? No. If a cop is going to bust you, he will do so long before there is physical contact that goes beyond the perfunctory. If you try to get him to touch you in an intimate manner before anything is said about the sex or the fee, he will bring you back to those two issues -- but so would many escorts. You will note that in other threads escorts who post here advise that clients be explicit and forthcoming in communicating at the outset what they want from an escort. That is exactly what a police officer posing as an escort would want you to do as well.

I don't know if it legally makes a difference, but I always ask "Do you like to kiss?" or "Do you enjoy taking it?" rather than "Will you kiss me? or "Will you bottom?". Nevertheless, I would probably not even ask my simple questions unless I felt comfortable that the escort wasn't a cop to begin with. I'm much more comfortable responding to an internet website or ad which states "I love to kiss, and am sexually versatile" than I am responding to a website which is ambiguous (i.e. one in which I'll have to drag his sexual preferences out of him).

Once again, I prefer an ad that says "I'm versatile," rather than one which says "I charge $150 for oral, $200 for anal." Logically, it would seem to make a difference, legally. I do realize that the law can be quite illogical, though!

I'm wondering if not hearing from anyone on this site who has actually been busted this way is actually a good sign.

Try somewhere where prostitution is legal. Canada, for example, or Australia. Come on, guys, this country needs more foreign exchange!
