Hello, my friend. I have some news about my plans for you now.

I must ask you to excuse me for the situation that has arisen, but

something serious has come up now at home and because of it I must go back before I wanted to and before I expected to. Therefo re I must cancel my trip to California and the time afterwards in New York and I must go back to Brazil instead.

I apologize for this disappointment and I am hoping for your understanding of this unexpected situation.

I will try to come back to the US soon. I want very much to be able to visit California, to get to know it, and to meet with you. Visiting California has been one of my dreams.

I will keep your email safe and as soon as possible I will write to you about my future plans. I hope that we will be able to meet in the futurewhen I can return here.
