Well as far as Philly goes it all depends on what kind of hotel, any of the good ones in CC Philly I have never had a problem with vistors cuming to my room;-) , I just give them the room number and they always have cum str8 up to the room. Only once did the front desk call but that was because the asshole (New Escort) was thinking he had to stop at the desk first. All the good hotels I stayed at in CC Philly never questioned any guest that would stop by.:+

I have never had any trouble with any hotel here in DC with having guests visit, whether for a couple of hours or overnight. There is a wide range of choices here, both in quality and price. I would suggest the Radisson/Barcelo on P street NW, between 21st and 22nd streets but it's normal rates are $175 and up a night for a regular room , but then again they sometimes have specials (this weekend, I suppose since it's not too busy because of Christmas, it's only $99). This is located in the heart of Dupont Circle (the main gay area of DC) and within walking distance to several gay clubs, restaurants and businesses. There is a Marriot Courtyard directly across the street, which is around the same price and quality and a Wyndham a couple of blocks away on New Hampshire Avenue and N St, NW which is not as expensive, but also not as nice. Of course there are many, many others to choose from if you don't want to stay in the gay area. If this is your first time in DC you may want to check out http://www.washingtonblade.com. I hope you have a great time here in DC. If ad rian asks, please let him know that I am not getting a commission for mentioning these hotels. :7

I stayed at the "gay friendly" Alexander Inn in Philly, was quite nice and not expensive. It's well-situated if you want to go to any of the downtown bars after you play.

I have stayed at the Barcelo in Washington, nice place also. I'd definitely recommend it there. I don't think I had company there, so I can't say if that would be a problem, but I think it is pretty routine there.

Here in DC, most hotels do not have any policy about visitors and it is very easy to have someone come up to your room without first checking in. The only ones in which I have had to check in at the front desk first, were the Ritz and the Four Seasons, both on M street in Georgetown. Other than that, I have just walked in and discreetly headed to the client's room.

If you are looking for a fun, interesting hotel, you might want to check out the Rouge on 16th street. The decor is very cool!:p
