Agency Reviews -- ManToManEscorts (So. Calif.)

Reviews of agencies are not posted in the Review section of this site, but I thought I'd give some specific feedback on an agency that I've dealt with quite a lot over the last year or so. I don't exclusively use agencies -- in fact, I've been with more independent escort than those from agencies. I'd love it if other contributors would report on agencies that they've dealt with as well.

 

ManToManEscorts has recently expanded to cover most of Southern California, especially LA, San Diego, and Palm Springs (previously, it was primarily San Diego) and to include many more diverse types of guys. I like the younger, more twinkish types, which they now have many to chose from (Marc Anthony, take note) along with the "hunkier", more mature guys that they previously specialized in (to make Rod happy). Dave, the owner, has always given me the highest level of service, and the guys have been reliable and totally as advertised. Dave also keeps me updated with new guys as he signs them on (even before they are on his site) -- which is great since he has been adding them at a fast rate lately. He also has at least one guy who I just love who isn't shown on the site per the escort's wishes (ask about Trent -- an actual college gymnast who is sweet as can be).

 

Of his current guys, I've personally hired Trent - LA (2x), Bastian -LA, Kirk - LA, Corey - SD, and Tino - SD/LA (2x). All of the guys have been exeptional (even though I haven't always done reviews on them), and my current favorates are Trent and Bastian (I have lots of plans for both of them).

 

Overall, the cost of going through an agency is high, but I consider the money well spent as MTM has helped me make sure that I'm hiring the highest quality guys (along with my own research of independents that I do on this site). I've been so happy with these guys that I've tipped them well even though the "event" was already costing me quite a bit (especially since I typically like a 2-hour session).

 

I'd be happy to give candid answers to any questions that anyone might have regarding my experience with this agency and/or its guys -- and, again, I'd love to hear about other contributors' experiences with agencies (especially in So. Calif and Las Vegas).

Uncle Bill: I too have used Mantoman and found Dave to be very helpful and reliable. I will use him again, that I can assure you.

 

Another great agency in Campus in NYC. Mike is also a great help and provides a very reliable service.

 

I use a mix of independents and agencies, and there are pros and cons to each. But as far as agencies go, these are really good ones.

Thanks for your 'review' of ManToMan agency. Perhaps you saw my own plea for info on LA escorts?

I'm going to LA for a week in early June & have been trying to do my homework & decide whom I want to see. Dave, from M2M, replied to my earlier post & suggested several guys as being compatible with my tastes (oral top, I guess?). Kirk, Matt, Nate & Deacon were mentioned. Any comments on them.

I'd also like to know more about Trent -sounds nice!

 

Care to mention any other agencies or independents (I like guys orally taleneted & enthusiastic, who can be comofrtable with a little aggression as well as affection).

Zack Evans also is interesting, but it's difficult to tell how versatile he is.

To Seeker: When you come to L.A. go to "Numbers" restaurant and Bar on Santa Monica Blvd, in West Hollywood. Some night are good some nothing, but lately on Friday nights there has been anywhere from 6 to 12 guys there to hire. In the last two weeks, there have been several Major porn stars there, who are obviously in need of some quick cash, and it has been very good. Last Friday, there were two Latin Hunks, Three or four muscle guys, a couple of twinks, 3 blond, swimmer types and a couple of guys you wouldn't want!

Numbers has gotten some bad raps of late as not being as good as it used to be, but again id depneds on the night(although on very slow tuesday night there a short time ago I met "Richie Fine" there, and had just seen him in a video, he had just moved out from the east and I had a great time! I have never used Man To Man and I have no reason to doubt that the owner is a nice guy. You noted that they have been adding and deleting escorts quickly, that isn't a good sign of a stable agency.

 

After reading your press release I looked at the site. Not sure why you feel it would be so hard to find these guys away from Man To Man? Many are reviewed here with direct contact info, some are on Meet Local Men with direct contact info and yet others have their own listings on escort sites.

 

The only agency that I have used on a regular basis is Campus Escorts, why? Because their guys are not normally independant. Otherwise I would not use them, especially since they raidsed their rates.

I was just ripped off by a hustler from Rentboy tonight, David from Toronto and New York with no previous reviews. The experience has minded me why I too like Campus, and may reluctantly submit to the new higher fees. Pity!

Hi, Seeker. I did see your "plea" for info on LA guys, but at the time I just didn't think that I knew of guys that would fit the "aggression" theme (I think that I misread what you were looking for). In any case, Marc Anthony's reply to your thread is a good one, both in terms of MTM and Brogan. Among independents, I'd add Justin #2 to your list as well -- he's my "regular" guy (he's a bit publicity shy, but he has a pic on MeetLocalMen and is really wonderful in all respects -- see my review of him) -- just note that he has a day job so is only available week nights and weekends (also he is out of town until around 6/4 so he may not answer your communications right away).

 

In answer to your specific questions: Kirk has very good oral skills and is a total twink if you like that type (which I do), but he's not a real deep kisser if that's important. Trent is very oral as well, kisses and cuddles like a dream, and I really like him as a person (and he is totally hot -- Dave can send you pics), but I'm not really sure if he'd get into the more aggressive oral situation you mentioned, but Dave should be able to sort that out for you. Kyle (one of the independents you mentioned) is also very oral, but I tend to think of him as the more dominant type -- you could probably satisfy your question by calling him. I don't have first hand experience with any of the other guys you mention or any other agencies in LA (thus, the reason for my thread -- I want to find out more as well).

I honestly don't know about their role-play skills (not something that I've explored), but the agency can probably answer that for you.

 

Justin #2 (an independent -- see my post #8 above) might get into some role-play as he is pretty open minded, but I'm not too sure about spanking. Same for Brogan. I'd try checking directly with these escorts.

It's true that the point of the "Escort Reviews" section of this site is to review escorts (although the reviews of escorts hired through an agency typically comment on the agency also). The "Message Center" is for the users of the site, and if this topic is not of interest to those users (apparently such as yourself), they can easily ignore my post. Also, just as an FYI, before starting this thread, I corresponded with HooBoy on this very subject, and he let me know that he choses not to have an "Agency Reviews" section, which is obviously his right since this is his site, but he never told me that I couldn't or shouldn't post something in the Message Center. (HooBoy: If I am somehow subverting your site, please let me know, and I will immediately cease and desist, having been appropriately chastised.)

As they recently expanded geographically, they have been adding escorts reasonably quickly, and some of those escorts have found that the escort life really isn't for them and have dropped out. Most of the new guys have stuck with it, and quite a number of guys have been with them since the beginning. I've hired guys from MTM that only did one or two dates before quitting (maybe it was their experience with me that sent them off), and I've hired ones that are still there. The key for ME is that all of the guys have been top notch. Let's face it, guys escort for all kinds of reasons, and some (hopefully, most) decide not to make a career out of it. (This is totally my interpretation based on my personal experience with this agency and its guys.)

First of all, I suspected that someone would think my post was a commercial ("press release" in your terms), but I can only say that this post was completely my idea and that I have no association with this agency except as a fairly "regular" client. My motives for posting were to solicite other comments on agencies (hopefully those in So. Cal. and Vegas so that I might be able to consider using them) and to share a resource that others might find useful. In addition, to be totally honest, I'd like to see this agency and its guys continue to be successful so that I can continue to use them. I'm not here to explain or apologize for this agency -- or any others. I just thought that I had something to say that was worth sharing, and I certainly respect your right to discount or ignore my comments.

 

As of the "hard to find" comment, in many respects you are absolutely correct. However, sometimes I want more first-hand input than is in the reviews (or in the Message Center for that matter) -- especially if all of the reviews are from first-time reviewers, or some kind of input at all if they aren't reviewed (such as just being listed on MeetLocalMen or RentBoys). For me, it's not a matter of being able to contact the guys or getting them to agree to meet with me, it's a matter of trying to make sure that I'll have the best experience possible. Sometimes I get that from independents who I am able to research adequately on HooBoy's site and other sources, and sometimes it's from this agency (I don't travel a whole lot, and this is the only agency I've used). Also, you might note that some of that contact info (on the reviews and in the ads) might be outdated -- I know of at least one specific case involving a guy that I just sent in a review for today (Bastian) where he still has an ad out there that isn't valid (and this will be his first review on HooBoy when it gets posted).

We each do what works best for us individually. I'm not saying anything more than that there is a resource that I have used fairly frequently that has been very reliable for me, and that I'm interested in sources others might have along the same vein. I still consider HooBoy's site to be my main source of information about all of the things in the escorting arena about which I have much to learn (which is most everything), and for a lot of reasons, I probably prefer independent escorts when I find the right ones.

I regularly use Boys R Us - Tony at the agency is very helpful in arranging the right guy to meet your needs. Have recently hired Todd and Eric - both very hot, latin types and very horny! The guys at Boys R Us are usually students or other young guys with full time jobs that are working here for extra cash - so they are not 'professionals' but certainly not your street type boys that you could end up with if using ads from Xtra (the local gay newspaper) - one thing that I find with the guys from Boys R Us is that not only are the hot, young, and very personable but without fail they are all very very horny - makes for a fun evening - if you are visiting Toronto I highly recommend a call to Tony.

I've use Chelsea Guys in NYC. Why? They send over exactly what I'm in the mood for. And the guys deliver. Luke is a gorgous, hot top, uncut. Adam and Marcelo are wild men. For smooth, versatile guys with swimmer's builds, try Dex (lovely, just lovely) and Brad (he sure was curious about my floggers and let me try them out for a bit). The only dud is Ben. I recently decided to go with an independent because I was curious about one of the star respondants on this website. I have met some really nice and really hot guys through Maximum, but because they don't show face shots, there quality is not consistently good, and there can be disapointments at the door. If I had to rank, I would do so in this order: Campus, Chelsea, A-list then Maximum.

After you e-mail the guy at Calif. Sugar Boys (Hoko), he'll send pics with descriptions, and many are quite good looking (lots of twinks, but some other types as well). I'll probably try this agency one day but probably won't be for a couple of months yet.

 

I've never even contacted the other agency (MC) since they only have a phone number and that doesn't make me comfortable enough to deal with them, but in addition to the comment by N.N. below, there is a review of one of their guys from a while back (see Adam #2 in L.A.), which discusses the agency as well -- and is quite negative.

Chelsea Guys is my favorite in NYC. A List ain't bad either. Never tried Maximum - all of their models look the same which makes me wonder - and Campus is twink heaven - not my taste.

PS. I hadn't hired Kirk aka David of New York and Toronto in about a year, so I took him out for a spin again last March. Still looks great, fucks like a champion and is a hellava great kisser.
