Actually I've been thinking about the issue of escort prices a lot (thanks to the frequency at which this subject matter comes up here throughout the forum), and just today came up with what, in my humble opinion, is a revolutionary concept:

 

We should hope escort prices continue to rise. I would like to see them go, very quickly, to $500/hour minimum. I'd like to see that happen tomorrow. This, for the same reason I was pleased when cigarette and gasoline prices skyrocketed in the past; when something desirable, even addictive becomes too available, people (especially in this country) seem to lose their sense of limitations.

 

Just speaking selfishly, if escort prices were too low, I'd use them (or I should say - I'd call on the same escorts) all the time. Let's assume in this exercise that escorts are as common as say, Mormons in Provo. So supply would not be the issue. I'm sure my psyche and health would eventually be negatively affected. Same goes for the escorts. Just as the price of cigarettes was more a factor in my quitting several years ago than concern for my own health (at 29, what did I worry about?), if escort prices increased dramatically (or really, even over the $200 mark everywhere), I'd actually save more money and spend time coming out of the closet to create real relationships. I dare say many more would do the same.

 

Sure I might splurge on an escort once a year for $500/hour, even have a three-way with my new boyfriend (he'd be VERY understanding) - but do you guys see what I'm talking about? Nothing wrong with paying for a fantasy, a wild ride, hell I'd love to see Amsterdam open up a HomoDisneyland with a darkroom the size of a zeppelin hangar. I'd pay a grand to do that for a weekend. But is it really healthy to pay for companionship? If I hire escorts once a month, or more, what is it I'm really trying to find? Seems like more than just a ride.

 

That being said - it's a good thing there are no $150/hr (quality) escorts in San Diego like there are in SF, or Ohio, etc. - or I'd be hiring once per week - I'm absolutely certain.

You're right about that. I can't imagine anyone would pay $500 for an hour with him. There are a definitely lots of escorts better looking than he is, and there's nothing at all special about him. The previous review attributed to the "$500 reviewer" was also of a Honolulu escort, and the reviewer said he was a businessman traveling through Honolulu. This begs the question as to why he hasn't written any other reviews, and also why he didn't hire the $200 escort he'd previously ranked so highly. I also can't imagine a nonsmoking client not minding our $500 friend lighting up after coughing up the big bucks, let alone printing it in the review.

Actually there is a regular poster on this board, I won't mention his name as he hasn't taken part in this thread, who I believe paid a introduction service several hundred dollars, then the escort about four hundred dollars more. However, the escort was a well known porn guy and the only way, at that time, to contact him was through this introduction service. This makes sense to me if you have the funds, though beyond my financial means.
