Hitting all the right buttons. I messaged at the number in his profile. The only response I got was a "Ok." and "Yes?" which are odd responses for what I was asking. Also, his automated message on RM chat gave a different phone number–considering messaging there and seeing if I get a better response.

He looks to have 15 legitimate reviews. Anybody else interact with him? Is his reply just indicative of a significant language barrier? Company thoughts?

So apparently it was a language barrier, I translated my text messages to him in Spanish and I got a response! Almost pulled the trigger but it was late and he left for Palm Springs the next day.

Maybe changed his profile name? You mentioned he was traveling to Palm Springs. If you set your location to Palm Springs and scroll the profiles you might find him again if he did just change the profile name.
