d.anders Posted Saturday at 07:33 PM Posted Saturday at 07:33 PM After seeing this video short, I thought, oh boy, these two should do a gay romance story together. Looking a bit deeper, I see they recently made The Man I Love, and they're out promoting it. This chemistry they have on the press tour looks intriguing. thomas 1
Rod Hagen Posted Sunday at 03:58 PM Posted Sunday at 03:58 PM They are adorable together. I like Rami very much, I wish he were a better actor but unfortunately even though he does what he does very well, it's all kinda one note. One impressive note. Mr. Robot, a pretentious bore to most, to me only gets better each time I watch it (3 times total). I like his steady same-note performance, the flatness of the co-stars, particularly Meryl Steep's daughter, and the absurdity of the story. If you give the show patience, some slack, and some love, it's quite good. I hope The Man I Love does well (I don't know the other actor, Luther Ford). thomas 1

I think Rami IS pretty much one-note, but Mr. Robot called for exactly that note and it made both the show and his performance very, very good. You should watch it if you're a fan of his. I don't think he deserved the Oscar for Bohemian Rhapsody (I think the Academy gave it to Freddie Mercury more than to Malek) and he looks the total lightweight standing opposite any of the actors in Oppenheimer or Russell Crowe in Nuremburg. He even made a weak Bond villain. But he does have that crazy look in his eye, which makes him watchable.
