However, right before the meeting he said that he was needing to raise it to 1K for the two hours. When I asked him why the increase he replied “Don’t be sorry, I’m in a more stable position with my career. I don’t set up many arrangements anymore unless it’s truly worth my time. Sorry it didn’t work out”

My first item to note was “open to short term meet and real networking opportunities.” To me that meant “no travel” which disqualifies him for me. I personally found it attractive that he avoids big bold tattoos.
