Question about www.meetlocalmen.com

Has anyone else checked out this website? I notice (at least on the Los Angeles listings) that a lot of the ads there have a banner to click on stating "Click the banner below to see my reviews" and that click brings you here to our beloved review site. BUT, many (most?) of these guys with ads there in fact do NOT have reviews here. I don't know, but it seems kind of odd that they should infer that there are reviews of themselves as an escort/masseur here. No big deal, but any thoughts? I suppose it's just some sort of reciprocal arrangement with the people running that site, and Hoo Boy?

 

I keep getting interested in someone on that site then come over here and fruitlessly search for their review. :-)

HooBoy announced some time ago in the News section that MeetLocalMen.com has purchased advertising space here.

 

It should be no surprise that a site selling advertising to escorts would link to the #1 review site.

But when a specific escort's ad reads "click the banner below to see MY reviews" (my emphasis on "MY") isn't that insinuating that the escort indeed *has* a review on the m4m escort site? I don't mind cross promotions, advertisig etc. I do it every day in my business. But if I'm looking at an escort's ad, and it pretty much states that I should got to m4mescorts to see a review of the advertised escort...that's what bugs me.

 

Am I nuts?

Nobody on this site (including Hooboy) can speak for MeetLocalMen's policies. <shrug>

 

They purchased advertising space here, and they handle all marketing. What they do on their own site is totally up to them.
