I am breaking a sort of promise I made to Rick some months ago, but feel, in terms of honesty, I should "balance the scales". I say this noting I have no bad feelings towards Rick either. He is quite nice, responsible and honest.

 

I finally met up with him in April of this year, and he had talked me into meeting him with his roomate as well, although I was not entirely sold on the idea of a 3-way at the time, but thought it would be interesting to see the interaction of two lovers.

 

I made my way to their place in the Village, and have to say that my first bad vibes came going into the building which had a distinct odor of dogs (I am not a great fan of pets).

 

Their apartment was relatively clean and bright, though, and on entering on time for the meeting, was met by Rick's roomate. My first reaction was on the age thing, as BOTH were older than projected, but I like older so this was a plus in my books.

 

As for looks, they are both good looking in a "normal" sense... neither would be fashion models, and again this is fine with me, as I am more comfortable with normal looking guys.

I have two problems with your remarks. First and foremost, you keep refering to Derek Ross as Rick's roomate. He's much more than that. Derek is Rick's boyfriend and they've been together since high school. From what I've observed, the two of them are still very much in love. We should all be so lucky.
