I’m hoping that someone out there will be able to tell me what has become of Joshua Daulton of Chicago.

I had arranged for an overnight with him including a round trip e-ticket the weekend of Sept. 8-9, and had gotten a confirmation from him that it was all was set for that date. He never showed up, nor did he ever notify me with any reason why he never made it.

I am quite surprised by this, since I have had two previous, wonderful overnites with him this past year, and this behavior seems totally out of character for his sweet nature.

Has he “retired’ all of a sudden? His calendar would suggest that, as he has posted no new appointments for a couple of weeks. A steady boyfriend? Family problems? Bad breath on my part? What? I’m in a quandary………

As much as I’d like to see him again, I’m mostly concerned about whether he is OK, so if anyone knows anything about his current status I would greatly appreciate it.

Well lots of my clients are still waiting an answer from their email sent to Joshua. Myself I have sent him an email about 3 months ago and never got an answer. I have talked to him a couple of time " by email" but that is all.

It seems that the popularity is not always good for some out there. I'm very disapointed with the miss of respect that josh had toward people I know. Now about that trip prepaid and no show, I really think it is bad.

Please wake up Joshua

Steph, communications with Josh have always been sporadic because he had limited access to a computer.

What is extremely unusual is this total blackout for the last several months. He's just too nice of a guy to do that unless something dire is going on.

I'm very, very worried for him.

I'm sorry Deej but you're either in business or not in business. In this day and age with Internet Cafe, Public Library and college computer labs, access should not be a problem for anyone. I had no problem checking email in Belize, Honduras, Mexico, St. Thomas and San Juan on my last vacation. Hell I could have gone online from the ship via satellite but not at $5.00 a minute.

I have no doubt he's a nice guy. You and many others have told me that from personal experience. However over the last year I have experienced communication blackouts with him ranging from 3 weeks to 5 months.

He has updated his site with a very nice personal statement on the tragedy this past Tuesday. Which means he's been online this week and after the missed appointment that started this thread.

Barry, I actually agree with you (mostly).

I'm willing to give this one a bit of "breathing room" because I know there was a tenuous family situation brewing. Sure, he's been a bit flaky over the last year, but we haven't seen a single complaint about his services. Rather, we've seen complaints about not being able to GET them.

Not much point in complaining about a guy that doesn't give you a chance to be ripped off, eh? Surely we would have seen other complaints if he blew off clients routinely.

If, however, this turns out to be another Anthony Holloway situation I'll be the first to blow the whistle. I'll be surprised, but I'll pull no punches once we know the truth.

And by the way, bravo on staying connected while on vacation. I've had connection problems in NYC, Seattle, LA, Little Rock, and Orlando. You're a real trooper. ;-) I've never actually tried while on vacation. }>

I also have been concerned about Josh. I had a confirmed appointment for a Cubs game on August 30th which shows on his site calendar. Last heard from him early in the month before he was due to go to California. Sent a message late on the 30th to him, but have heard nothing. Hope that he, or Matt, can let us know what is happening.

Well something can happen, I totally agree, it might happen once or even twice, It has happened to me in the past and I could not do anything about it, but when It is over and over and especially with people I personnally know, who never complains , or rarely do, it means a lot to me when they do start to complains. Like I said, I have not emailed him once, no I have talked to him severals time, and wanted even to work with him for a video through http://www.eboysvideo.com and he has really dissapointed me with his lack of professionalism.

I hope he is ok, and that he is safe wherever he is, but you want to be an escort, do it good ,don't screw up like it just happened. People might keep it for themself, but some others won't , and it seems that this is what is happening right now, people are talking and sharing now......

Thanks, Barry, for pointing out the addition to Josh’s web page that shows that he’s at least able to get to his computer, no matter what else might be wrong. I’m very relieved by that and Deej’s reassurances.

As the aggrieved party here, I cannot justify Josh’s business practices, but I can easily cut him some slack here. I’ve long felt that many of the younger escorts (Joshua’s 21) are very ambivalent about being in the escort business at all, and the exposure that the more highly rated ones get from this site must be especially overwhelming …………..I’ve always questioned the wisdom of writing reviews on an escort with whom I’ve had a particularly good experience for this very reason.

All I can say is that Joshua is an extraordinary young man, and I feel fortunate to have gotten to know him the few times we were together.

I hope he finds happiness in whatever he decides to do.

Thanks to deej, Barry, and Matt--for their efforts in providing some info on Josh. Glad to hear that he is alive, and hopefully well. I should also thank Josh--he was a breathe of excitement in my life. I also wish him well.

What is somewhat disturbing to me is-this is the sudden disappearance, in less than two years, of a 4th escort, with all of whom I had spent some time. For me it has become somewhat akin to grief. But then, I guess I have become used to that in some 60+ years of life. And, then I do have some very fond memories of every one--travel, opera, symphony, theatre, comedy clubs, Blue Man group, baseball, etc. as well as the closeness and instant companionship that each provided. Each has been different and rewarding. I have been blessed by all whether long term or hourly, whether Chi, LA, Paris, Amsterdam, yes even Harrisburg. Only one truly bad (no, just poor) experience in two years must be better than the average human encounter!! Bless you all, but, may I keep my present friends with no further surprises. And, may the Cubs go on a winning streak starting tonight!! (Yes,Josh?)

Again, thanks.

Well now that we know Josh is apparently OK and both of the clients who experienced a no-show (Spiro3 and Chibil)have graciously expressed their relief at Deej locating Josh, I don't see much else left to be said on the specifics. I do have a couple of general comments below.

>Sure, he's been a bit

>flaky over the last year,

>but we haven't seen a

>single complaint about his services.

>Rather, we've seen complaints about

>not being able to GET

>them.

I agree but as Stef pointed out, failure to have timely and consistent communication with one's customers not only is bad business but also shows a lack of respect. Responding to emails has been discussed on this board many times before.

>Not much point in complaining about

>a guy that doesn't give

>you a chance to be

>ripped off, eh? Surely we

>would have seen other complaints

>if he blew off clients

>routinely.

In this one thread we have two instances of appointments not followed through with, one being an out of town trip. Also in both cases there was no communication before or after. I have heard of others and I agree again with Stef that not all clients are comfortable posting their issues or complaints here.

>And by the way, bravo on staying connected while on vacation. I've had connection problems in NYC, Seattle, LA, Little Rock, and Orlando. You're a real trooper. ;-) I've never actually tried while on vacation. }>

I join you my friend in frustration with connection problems while out of town. In my experience though all of the problems were with connecting via laptop from a hotel. My point here was if anyone needs access to a computer and the net, every major city has Internet Cafes and libraries. I have never experienced the inability to connect from Cafes anywhere in this country or others.

I am happy to hear Josh is OK. :-)

Yes, I understand your point. Corey actually used internet cafes following that thunderstorm that left thousands without phone service.

But those cafes do no good if you can't get out of bed. :-(

I sent him an email a couple of weeks ago and just got a reply apologizing for the delay. He says he is back up and running and taking appointments, however has not responded to an email that I sent asking about a week from now. I emailed him about those concerned above and told him to check out the messages. Maybe he will leave something here for all to read.

I too hope all is well with Joshua.

I feel that if someone is escorting that they should respond to emails, contact clients when they can't make their appointments and generally act professionally.

I had written to Joshua a couple of times and never got even a reply, so I saved my money. There are plenty of other hot boys out there.

I would write off anyone who didn't have the professionalism to

keep in touch with his clientele. He won't be hearing from me again.

I met Joshua at his place on 9/27 and he was wonderful

as he always is. He brought up this thread and explained

to me what happended and I also told him he may have

handled things different but I understand that it

was not possible for him to contact anyone for a day

or so. I just wanted everyone to know that he is alive and

well and yes he might be hard to connect with sometimes but

when you do you'll forget any troubles that you had

getting together with him.
