Jakethetenth Posted November 24 Posted November 24 (edited) Hello all! I’ve been seriously considering going to Mexico City for the holidays. I’ve heard many great things about it and have wanted to go for a while, so it’s finally time to just do it. I feel pretty confident about going and am looking to stay in La Condesa, Roma Norte, or Polanco. The one part I’m still trying to figure out is the logistics of hiring while out there. I’ve seen on some threads that hotels and AirBnBs can be strict about locals coming back with a tourist. Is that really a big deal, like I’ve been interpreting? Is it common to go to a provider if they host? I’d like to get some sense of what the “norm” is there. I’m also curious what a few “most see/visit” people would recommend. I definitely would like to check out the sightseeing, as well as the shopping and food scenes. Edited November 24 by Jakethetenth
+ 7829V Posted December 7 Posted December 7 Usually you either pay for a motel/hotel or they come to you. There are plenty of places that basically make their business by renting rooms for private encounters. They’re well equipped with all the amenities you’d need. The more you pay, the more “themed” or upgraded the room tends to be… from simple setups to more elaborate, decorative ones.
